NFL quarterback and Hueytown product Jameis Winston has given a sizeable financial donation to Miles College, the historically black college in Fairfield.
Winston donated $50,000 to the school’s athletic department earlier this week, the school announced in a news release, and the money will be used for upgrades within the football program.
