Is anybody else having problems for Instant Messenger on MSN?

My IM on MSN is fine however there are a few glitches. It's not showing my new messages.
 
I was chatting with someone the other day and they kept saying that they were getting winking smilies from georgewbush@usgovt....

...something like that, but my name was in the informative bar where it says, "Donyale is typing a message" :xeye:

I didn't understand that. Someone probably put a virus in the computer...(I was in the lab)
 
Get Yahoo messenger...the format is alot better. you can buzz people, a little man pops up & tells you about your messages..voice & video chat is on there. I like it alot better than MSN.

I received the same thing on my MSN Messenger. It was asked to be downloaded, then all the sudden I see a bunch of winks from George Bush. Somehow, I sent it to a friend I was talking to shortly after I contracted the virus. To eliminate it, I simply deleted everything on my computer labeled "choke.exe"
 
GSU Spirit go to the MSN.com homepage and they'll explain what the problem is.Something about a power shortage.It should be up by the end of the day.
