My Internet Explorer on my home PC doesn't work. I just switched to DSL from dial up. When I had dial up I just hit the connect button on the keyboard and connected to AOL. Now with the DSL modem I have to click on my IE icon and when I do that I get an error message:

Iexplore has caused and error in Kernell32.dll. Iexplore will now close. If problem persists try restarting your computer.

So basically now when I try anything internet related, I get this error. Do I need to use the system recovery disk?

First try this.

Open IE
Click on menu items Tools/Internet Options
Click on the Connections Tab
Make sure the "Never Dial a Connection" option is checked.

If this doesn't work, make sure you are logging into your DSL account.

If this doesn't work, when you get the kernell.dll error, there is a details link or button, click on it and post what it displays.
