Not a great sunday for conference. It looked promising at first but as the 2nd half ended we went 0fer.

PV Panthers was playing 2 teams at the same time tonight as the refs let Rice go 26 for 34 from the line.
We see why they're undefeated at home.
This was game we let go after leading by 10 with about 10 minutes left in the game.

From what I can see, the top 5 of the conference in no necessary order is Alcorn, Southern, PV, sTu, & Grambling.
 
I agree with JROCK I think the team that starts fast in the first 9 conference games will have an advantage. Grambling gets the Texas 2 Step without students on campus that’s going to be a plus for us. I hope to see a few of y’all at the games in Texas.

MSU is undefeated and a defensive team so us getting 50 was a miracle considering Collins is our only consistent scorer (still waiting to see if the JUCO guys play in January)

Collins will get his in conference and probably will have several 20+ games but it will be hard to get the 5 projected wins I predicted if there isn't a 2nd consistent scorer
 
Grambling looking good against Vanderbuilt. g-men 44- 40 with 9 minutes left. i like Gramblings squad. i think TSU have them 1st conference game. Might be a problem. Who would have thought , TSU a football school and Grambling a basketball school.
