Get Ready Letters To Past and Present Commissioners

MD, stopped by the SWAC Office to meet the Interim Commissioner. When I arrived you could hear several of the staff member laughing loudly. I asked, what was the celebration. They handed me these letter from Get Ready.



Dear Commissioner:

I would like to thank you for coming up with the idea of dividing the SWAC into two divisons. The alignment is perfect because JSU and SU played in the first SCG. I know this is a great game to showcase the best three teams in the SWAC. However, since we are a very dominate team, it appears that only JSU will representing the East for many years to come . I, Get Ready, affectionly known as The Great One recognize the fact that if they cannot compete with JSU it is their own fault because they are responsible for hiring and recruiting players to compete with us.

Dear Commissioner:

It has been two years since the SCG was formed. I would like for you to review how teams are selected, because if all games had counted AAMU would not have been in the SCG. I TGO, feel that the current format has done a grave injustice to JSU. I and the entire JSU Mafia suggest that you revise the format and make every game count.

Dear Commissioner:

Again, JSU was denied a chance to play in the SCG, because of the revised format. I know our team is better than the Bamas, but this format must be changed so that we can increase the attendance at the SCG. As you know, JSU lead the nation in D1AA Football attendance and I can assure you a big gate if we can get back. If you can bring back certain officials this will help (if you know what I mean)

Dear Interim Commissioner:

As you know, I hope you will do something about changing the format of the SCG. I feel the Bama teams are not playing fair by exchanging game films which places us at a disadvantage. I hope things can change under your watch, because I feel that all the championships we have won, we deserve to be in the SCG. MD actually believe that the Bama who win the MCC will play in the SCG. So far and I hate to admit it he has been right. You know, if you can find a way to ensure the game ends in a tie JSU has a chance. But if you can come up with a way for JSU to get back to Birmingham, I will see what I can do for you and your staff.

btw, if GR had the good sense (thanks rob), he would've stopped writing those letters to the swac office after Rudy promised to whoop his arse.

well MH...you know this is Gee Arrah season..watch when October roll around..the leaves change color, nights get cooler and Gee Arrah disa-damn-pears from TSPN until this time next year

Dont you need to be somewhere trying to find a way to get Elmore a new paint job, or some new stairs, or the least yall can do is get some glass backboards instead of them old school wood backboards.

GR, Elmore is on the historical register. It is a national treasure, therefore I am really not in favor of the renovations.

I know how you feel about the former commissioners and you believed everything they did seems to favor AAMU. But I will have to admit that it is very difficult to beat two Bamas. Let me know if you are going to atend Media Day.

GR will probably not attend. GR has to do something called work. Having media day midweek is a horrible move. We have the worst commissioner in the history of the world.

Are you guys going to be taking up C&P donations so you can get a new gym? Have you guys even built bathrooms for the sports girls? Why not just ask SU for some of the millions and millions they get from the BC for help.

GR, I was hoping you would attend so I could show you my Championship ring. I don't know what type of job you have, but most jobs give their employees a blackberry so they can work 24 hours a day. GR, Dr. Franks did all he could for JSU after taking care of SU. He will not be coming back and I repeat he will not be coming back. So try to support the new commissioner and the SCG. We don't need to get rid of the divisional concept, because it is the right thing to do. I think you need to give Jesse Jackson a call to help you discuss the commissioner issues. If you cannot get a hold of Jesse give Mike a call. As you know, Mike and family are back in Huntsville and you know what to expect in November.

GR, to get some ideas on fund raiser, I visited several SWAC Schools Athletic Web Sites. I saw where your Bluebengal Association raffle off $250 and told all those lies about how much they have helped Athletics. SU has a QB Club that give away an automobile. But I have been wanting to say this for years. The automobile is given away at the BC and I have been to about 20 BCs and the same person win every year. I must be the only person who notice that the same person win every year. Instead of trying to have a fund raiser we will just donate the money and be done with it.

Quit lying MD

SU does not need to raffle anything. They have millions and millions from the BC. They are doing us a favor.

its okay though we rather whoop the worst football program in the SWAC led by Bookman himself. A maintenance man wont be able to fix that sorry azz team you got ....

GR, please observe that the basketball court is in tip top shape. It is the same size as any court in the conference. If they put in reserve seat, I might not be able to sit behind the visiting team and yell at them.

GR is really starting to feel sorry for you guys and your situation. Its a shame that you guys dont have vision....where there is no vision, the gym will perish. GR guesses you thought that tracks, locker rooms, and gyms would build themselves or improve on their own. It seems like yall need somebody white to run yalls school.

But what about you all's backs? No chairs for your backs? I know alot of old people need that back support and they cant lean back on the bleachers behind them because they wouldnt be able to raise themselves up.
