FAMU has the talent to win the East…but something is missing.

This was one of the games I worried about. But ASU can’t keep up offensively. Once our defense shut the run down, it was a wrap.

EDIT: Nevermind, we fumbled…

Time for the SWAC East Game of the Year (so far) in the two weeks.

FAMU vs JSU with both teams having a bye week leading into it.
 
Out of over 60 years of attending ASU football games, good and bad times, this was the worst game time experience! There was no college atmosphere, it was bar / club time for teenagers and 20 somethings atmosphere. The odd thing is the intended audience did not seem to like it either.

They brought man from the hood to play music the entire game. I do not know why the had FAMU or ASU band were at the stadium, it was the WORST experience!!! If this is what they are going to do, I will stop going!

Congratulations FAMU and good luck toward another east championship.

While your QB and the opposing team's QB are under center, one hears that dumbassed gangsta' rap blaring like a square body impala w/ gorillas in the trunk.

Honestly the way most schools are going now… started at AAMU about 2 years ago… we have a DJ at every home football and basketball game and the games are more like a club atmosphere.

When I am at the games, I keep thinking that I have gotten too old for this. This is for the young people, and this is how they do things now. SMH! But, it is so damn annoying. Glad to know it is not just me.

I went to a State Fair Classic in Dallas about 30 years ago and didn’t like that type of environment. I don’t think it’s your age, it’s just tacky. Sometimes one has to call it what it is.

Thank you. This shit doesn't make any sense.

There should be quiet while QBs are under center, excepting for crowd noise.

These dumb SOBs are playing gangsta' rap LOUDLY while QBs are under center AND the bands cannot play because the f'ing dj in the endzone, on the field, is playing shit loudly during timeouts. F'ing 6-8ft high speakers in the endzone playing DURING football play why?!

Shit is embarrassing and disrespectful to both teams.
 
You have to have a DJ that is in tune with what’s happening during the game. There are schools that do it well…and there are a lot that don’t.

A few weeks ago, FSU’s DJ pissed off everybody because the team asked for him to play music on third down instead of allowing the band to play the “War Chant”

A good Stadium DJ enhances the atmosphere at pivotal moments.
