About the Ford MEAC/SWAC Challenge
Coming off its first year, the Ford MEAC/SWAC Challenge, an ESPN Regional
Television owned-and-operated event, annually pits a MEAC team against a
SWAC member at a neutral site located within the footprint of one of the
conferences. The event celebrates the great tradition and pageantry of
black college sports through various community initiatives, highlighted by a
football contest between schools representing two prominent HBCU
conferences.
