Your thoughts?

 Since when did "White" have origins in North Africa and the Middle East? Is that a reference to Jews?

I remember talking to some Arabs about that and they don't think of themselves as so called "whites" They laughed when i told them they was included in the white race on some job applications. There's a lot of Arabs and Middle Eastern people waaaaay darker than most African Americans or Blacks.

And when was there a Difference between Hispanics? I thought a Hispanic was a Hispanic no matter how dark or what color the skin was. I guess that's why they let "white" Hispanics like the "White Cubans" into the United States but turn away other Hispanics or call them Illegals or Aliens.

I wonder why they didn't say ORIGINAL PEOPLES of Africa, that was kinda strange. And I wonder what they think of Mulattos, Creoles, (mixed black and white), or people that are mixed with Black and Native American blood, is that "one drop rule" of the old days still in effect because if it is then they shouldn't count people in North Africa or the Middle East as so called "white" You know they are mixed just by looking at the skin color.lol.

There are two types of Hispanics: Those who are more Euro and those who are more Native. Actually, there are three, because there are also Dominicans, etc. However, they would be lumped in with the Native crowd. The difference is how far removed from Spain your family is, and how much Native or African blood you have.

The heirarchy among Latins and Hispanics is more disturbing than the heirarchy among Black folk because the country of your origin is the determining factor of your social status, even if you look like the rest of them.

Un-defining Race.

Welp, Ward Connelly here in Kauleeforneeaa (as Arnold would say) wants to do away with the whole system; abolish all references to race on applications, etc PERIOD. Now this is no Connelly endorsement, just an observation; maybe the guy is onto something.
