U.S. Cosori has voluntarily recalled over two million units of their air fryers for faulty wiring that can lead to overheating, posing fire and burn risks. Several of their models are affected by the recall, which were distributed nationwide. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s recall, U.S. Cosori has received 205 official reports of their air fryers catching fire, burning, melting, overheating, or smoking. The incidents include 10 minor burn injuries and 23 minor property damage reports.
Which Cosori air fryers are recalled?
All recalled units have “Cosori” on the front, and you can find the model number printed on the bottom label of each unit (like this image shows) and on the company user manual (if you still have it). They are all either 3.7 or 5.8 quartz in size and come in black, gray, white, blue, or red (see their image here). The following Cosori air fryers model numbers are affected by the recall:- CP158-AF
