Deez boyz are BOUT IT!!! This happened at Hollywood Casino in Shreveport, LA.
Three men withdrew a half-ton ATM machine from Hollywood Casino early Monday morning.
The culprits drove a dark Chevrolet or GMC minivan into the casino's garage about 1 a.m. to the second parking level.
Using a two-wheel dolly, the men loaded the automated teller from just inside the two doors to the corridor that lead into the second floor lobby area. The 5-foot tall, 3-foot deep and wide ATM was hauled into the parking lot and shoved into the minivan, according to Shreveport police reports.
The machine was not bolted to the floor or wall, and the suspects left little more than a bare spot on the floor where the ATM had been.
The vehicle passed at least eight video security monitors -- including one near the doorway -- on the way out of the garage. At least one of the monitors caught images of the suspects.
"Those security cameras only videotape -- they're not manned," said Hollywood General Manager Juris Basens. "We feel pretty confident, unless it was a stolen vehicle or whatever, that we have the coverage that will at least show us what vehicle they left in. Between our security and Hibernia's security, they're working on that."
Two of the culprits were black males, wearing khaki pants and white T-shirts. The third was a white male wearing a blue T-shirt and khaki pants. All three men wore gloves.
The amount of cash in the machine was not made public.
After a weekend with steady business in the casino, it would be normal to assume an ATM would be in the same shape as a bad gambler -- namely, pretty tapped out. That's not necessarily a safe assumption, Basens said.
"The fill schedule, for security reasons, is random," he said. "It would be hard to guess how much is in one of those machines at any given time."
