College football: players have reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus


A lot of presidents, athletic directors and coaches are not saying is how badly the administration has handled the response to the virus. (They will not say it.) Add some of these governors as well.

Very soon the Big 10 commissioner is going to have to quit being the whipping boy. Critics will have to stop mentioning that his son plays at Mississippi State.

Texas Tech: Five more test positive for COVID-19

Campbell of the FCS played Georgia Southern of the FBS very close-lost by one. Georgia Southern had a win probably of 97.6% at the beginning of the game. It was at 52.5% when Campbell led 20-13. A two-point conversion by Campbell failed with less than two-minutes left.

Also, Statesboro, home of Georgia Southern, is one of the national hot spots.

That Feb. 7 tape just reiterated what I stated back in March that Trump and white supremacist would weaponize this virus.That was Trump's plan all along for the United States to kill off black people. He knew the severity of this pandemic all along and did nothing to stop it.
 
And with COVID-19, it's NOT just the death rate you need to be concerned about. COVID-19 has been known to worsen the respiratory system of those infected and cause other health problems that are long lasting which could impact their chances of making a pro team.

By the end of the fall, most teams playing will say the same if they're honest. So the SWAC, MEAC, and other conferences did the right thing by suspending the season right now. There is no way to properly contain the spread of COVID-19 at athletic events on college campuses

Charlotte-North Carolina: Saturday’s game between the 49ers and Tar Heels has been canceled due to contact tracing on Charlotte’s offensive line. The game will not be rescheduled this season.
 
Some have mentioned the other scandals as being worse that the delayed start of the football season. I hope no one gets ill from the virus.

The Big Ten Conference Adopts Stringent Medical Protocols; Football Season to Resume October 23-24, 2020

The Big Ten Council of Presidents and Chancellors (COP/C) adopted significant medical protocols including daily antigen testing, enhanced cardiac screening and an enhanced data-driven approach when making decisions about practice/competition. The COP/C voted unanimously to resume the football season starting the weekend of October 23-24, 2020. The decision was based on information presented by the Big Ten Return to Competition Task Force, a working group that was established by the COP/C and Commissioner Kevin Warren to ensure a collaborative and transparent process.

the bottom line is they’ll find a way to rapid test and manipulate the results to where covid isn’t a factor. What teams are using now forces you to sit for some time

they are a victim of teams rather focus on league play than non-league games. Baylor saw Kansas coming up and the bad weekend before by the Big 12 wasn’t something they needed again and UNT has Southern Miss coming up

contract tracing is going to be the new buzzword
