I live in the Gulfgate area (Loop 610 at I-45 South) of Houston. It was not as bad where I live as in other areas. I never lost power, but some people did. As of 11:00am CST, power is still out in some areas. Man, let me tell yall, it was scary for a while. That wind was blowing so damn hard.

Lost power at 18:28...power came back on today about 10:30.

It was more than a wind storm, but we are safe and unharmed.

Lost power last night at 6:00 and finally got it back today around Noon.

Iwnet to the gym a few blocks away to work out as I knew it was coming. No damage, did not lose power, and did not actually know how bad it was until listening to the 10 pm news and than my sisters calling to check on me. SW side near Beltway 8 and 59S.
