I just saw that he passed away yesterday. Definitely one of my favorite joints growing up. It was always fun seeing the expressions of peeps when they would find out that he was a Blue Eyed Brother. Confirmation that when one creates good music, if you got it, you got it, no matter what age, skin color, or whatever. So glad that in my recollecting vinyl, I was able to get a nice copy of the album that this joint was released on.

Also, if you haven't you guys should check out one of his recent joints. As with a lot of artists, the industry force feeds listeners which is why it is dead as compared to how it was as we were growing up. Many of the artists from back in the day are still capable and have at times put out music from the same energy that made us love them. Case in point, this was such a fire joint that Bobby put out a few years ago....It had that classic Earth, Wind, and Fire feel.
