They use to him "Dumb Doug" during his 1st tenure at Grambling. This isn't anything new. It's a pattern.

Doug going for a 2 point conversion was dumb. Simple as that.

Not really. If gram makes the 2 point conversion, then pb would need 2 scores to win.

My thought is that if we kick the extra point, PB HAS to go for 2 just to tie... we left the door open for them to get the win. They actually advanced the ball to our 17 yard line but ran out of downs.

I understand Doug's logic...and a coach has a right to make that call based on his "feel". Personally, I would want it so that they would have to go for two JUST to get the tie.

I'm not...he's a good coach. However, some are reluctant to second guess his calls on some matters. All coaches are subject to scrutiny and being second guessed. It doesn't make them Anti-Doug!
