Alcorn State vs McNeese State Game Updates: 6:00pm CT




According to Mcneese beat writer, Johnson suffered a concussion. I believe had Johnson finished the game, the Braves would’ve won.

TSF, I was not overly impressed with McNeese. S.U. went down there and much to my chagrin, brought a silver platter and handed those folks the game. We had 5 costly and uncharacteristic turnovers in that game. I actually thought Alcorn would blow them out. I know that a team oft time make great progress from game 1 to game 2 so I'm not sure how much progress McNesse made. However, I am certain they didn't have better athletes than S.U. and I based my assessment on Alcorn winning on that. Football is a game of attrition in some cases if key player were hurt from Alcorn, that may explain it. I'm going to be frank with you, I am very disappointed in those two losses. I'm not sure McNeese is good enough to win the SLC but we'll see.
