We were never in the game. Literally, bad-news-bears crap going on from the sideline and the field.
F'ing halloween layover or something. All of this makes zero sense to me.

I'm watching video of The Ohio State Univ, where flawlessness and high IQ are required coupled w/ great coaching and schemes.

We won homecoming so easy these guys thought they were better than they were

We went through the same thing against Alcorn after playing the same team they played the previous week

Wish SWAC teams would stop playing these teams but.... lazy scheduling

Week off actually hurt - Alcorn got on track thanks to valley just like tsu did
A week off caused our staff to let 30 plus seconds run off a 50 plus second game clock, right before the half, with three time outs at their disposal?

All those dropped passes and over-throws were due to a week off? Receivers slipping and falling like they were scared of the ball being thrown their way must be because of that too.

Seven games deep into the season, seven, prior to yesterday's game. I doubt any of what was on display yesterday was due to a week off?

TBF, the team and staff came into the game with a case of the Big Head thinking they were better than what they are. Lack of preparation and focus is why the team looked like the Bad News Bears yesterday. Four straight wins led to them drinking "We're Good Kool Aid" when the fact is they're average at best.

Alcorn came in with a deceptive record. In order, they lost by 10 to AAMU, 4 to UAPB, 1 to PV and 5 to FAMU. Out of conference, they lost on the road to FCS NWST by 10. For the sake of comparison, PV beat NWST at home by just 3.

With that said, congrats Alcorn.

This was the sunday 2023 revenge game. Kept them out of the SCG that year and those on the staff remembered it.
So did I. I did not want to see an anti climatic swac championship rematch after PV had lost 45-7 to FAMU already. The reason the TSU board probably wanted nothing to do with McNair after that collapse.
SWAC West was a pillow fight and the reason I soured on the Divisions.

Sometimes too much time off hurts - this team needs no bye week honestly - historically Alcorn has been a bad matchup for TSU - McKinney figured it out with 2 straight wins but then they can't beat the AAMUs or Alabama States of the world - hopefully Dishman figures it out as you lost a prime opportunity- but it shows also when the running game is bottled up what you have to rely on
