Alabama A&M basketball to host tournament 2024-25 season

There's no reason most of our schools shouldn't be hosting MTEs especially against regional schools who would gladly do it to save $$$

This can be a test run for SWAC schools. If this one turns out to be successful enough then others will do it.
 
Some kind of way this move will benefit Alabama as well. Probably recruiting a player in the area or made a promise to a current player on the team to play in front of their home crowd. Coach Curry played Auburn this year in Tuscaloosa and had Stillman's Band perform at Halftime on NPHC Greek night.

However, props to Coach Thornton for taking advantage of the situation. In addition, Alabama A&M should benefit from a packed house and recruiting. Great way to show off the new arena.

I think they would have come a long time ago if we had an arena and not a "gym." Auburn women came a few years ago.
We should be seeing more higher visible programs coming because of the Huntsville market and more competitive A&M teams. Buy your season tickets.
