I've been to this classic a couple of times. Me and my ships would stay with frat down the street from the dome. We normally would have a party/get together afterwards. UAPB lost both times. One year they played Howard and I can't remember the the other team they played. I take it UAPB must have some kind of contract to play in the Gateway Classic because it seems like they participate every year.
