Rice university athletics called me yesterday to offer $124 season football tix.

they have control of the databases from the ticketing systems - not all schools have that luxury unfortunately
If what you claim is part of the problem, what is the easy fix? Does the SWAC or each school need its own ticketing system/ticketing agency? Would the system pay for itself over time, everybody else sells data or access to it?

🤤 Interesting, I see similar lack-of-customer-concern issues with some of our restaurants, stores, etc.

ITS A LACK OF SERVICE FOR THOSE YOU SERVE, plain and simple!

There is an easy fix, BUT THEY JUST WON'T DO IT...cause they know folks will still come.

This.

And that is where they are horribly wrong. "They" think folk w/ common sense will still come to support such low quality efforting. Thank you SWAC-TV. Thank you HBCUGO. Thank you ESPN2. Thank you youtube-tv. Thank you ncaa NIL. I've learned more over the last 2-3 months than I care to know about NIL packages and how they also extend to 2 family members of the coveted one's choosing to finance travel to/fro home and away games.

I'm still tripping on rice univ calling offering $124 season football tix for 7 home games. (GA seating in the big stadium)

But the athletics office has their own email database or should have. That is a cop out.
not for tickets sold unfortunately - if they didn't get it from the external ticketing system they use or switched from - that's it

at TSU alone it went from something to SeatGeek to some new one and 2t all in 7 years and not all sell the same sports

Tickets sold??? What about season ticket holders, that information is available?

What is the easy fix to this foolishness? The excuses have to stop.
