And also, those people who says: Stop talking about and just ignore racism and it will go away. ie actor Morgan Freeman.
Those who say that won't be affected financially by whatever is happening. They are not struggling financially and they live secluded or in upscale gated communities.

Just because an individual has found a financial niche does not mean they are an expert in societal issues. Stop listening to them. Their money puts them in a realm that insulates them from stuff that affects the lives of many people.

Eddie Glaude, Marc Lamont Hill, Nina Turner, Cornell West, Killa Mike and Ice Cube are all dead to me. How's Trump's implementation of Cube's "Contract for Black America" coming along ???🙄

I never thought the don't vote people had any sizable amount of people that would make a difference in any election (nationally, state, or local). My concern has always been the weak democratic party response to the gradually weakling of the 1965 Voting Rights Act. The democratic party knew they did not have the votes to pass the John Lewis Act, but yet did not look at other options for protecting what the Voting Rights Act had been doing.

That comment by Morgan Freeman made no logical sense. I wonder did Morgan Freeman thought by not mentioning he was married that he relationship with another woman was not cheating.

If anything, Democrats losing the White House, Senate and Congress forced them to be more aggressive, idealistic and move with urgency. The key will be if they ever gain power, how will the party collectively wield it in a matter that impacts the needs and priorities of the electorate.

Not all those are rich folks.

A bunch of those are poor folks who as we saw on CNN complained they saw NOTHING from any of Biden's or any Democrat's bills.
They will claim nothing had happened. They don't look beyond their street corner.

Yet they are SILENT on these gas prices thanks to you know who.

Well it is hard to do that when you are not in full control and NEED votes from the other side. Also that filbuster is an issue. They have tried to get rid of it and GOP blocks them.

A lot of things that they have tried GOP have found ways to block. Like now. We got MAGA black folks and non-black voters screaming Democrats have done nothing in Congress.

How can you do anything when you get sent HOME everyday by the GOP?

Meanwhile while they complain-they are ignoring the removing blacks from GOP is happening.

And BLACK Democrats need to get on the ball because I KNOW I am not the only one who noticed the 30+ special elections that they have won-not ONE was a black candidate (might have been one but I am not sure).
