FAMU Football Receives NCAA APR Penalties





APR has nothing to do with FAMU per se. They're just the ones that suffer because someone transferred out 4 years ago and didn't graduate

That's one major thing that needs to be fixed. Once a player transfers out, their APR is on the new school.
 
Let's be real. PWIs admit guys who can't recognize their own name on a piece of paper and offer basket weaving degrees for Athletes. Why is it you never see Alabama Mississippi Arkansas type schools in ApR trouble? I know of several athletes who left Huntsville and went to these PWIs who a piece of tar in the road is smarter than

Too much MONEY is made from those schools.

But still the key point is schools like FAMU needs to stop accepting kids who are warning signs of not graduating. Especially with NIL got schools renting players.

everyone is at fault - did compliance check on the kids who left and ensure their enrolled or helped them enroll elsewhere to not lose multiple points?

was academics ensuring the kids were going to class and matriculating? Or majoring in the right things

did the coaching staff try to bring academically sound kids in or didn't care who enrolled and turned them over to academics instantly?
