2022 SWAC Basketball Tournament Thread

Alcorn game ended at 10:32. Let’s say they get out of the arena at 11:00.

Shower and eat at the hotel by 12:00. Get settled in their room and in the bed by 12:30. Sleep by 1:00.

8:00 - 10:00 breakfast lunch at Noon. Back at the arena at 3:00 for a 5:00 tip off. Thank you SWAC. It doesn’t guarantee a victory, but it gives TSU an advantage.

Ok if/ when Hicks is hot feed him I get that. But when he is not hitting you do something else. This is not the game to try to let him shoot his way back. You have a 1st team conference player nationally ranked, evidently he has some skills. But what do i know ? Sincerely a 10U girls rec league assistant coach of the year nominee (Nominated by my two best players that happen to be my daughters) 😂

The only reason I was afraid of playing Bama A&M is because the tournament is in Bama and if they made the finals they would be the Cinderella team.

I thought for A&M to knock down 3’s for three game straight would be impossible. Advantage TSU
 
Let’s Go Bama State women! SU almost did it. Foul trouble and the fact TSU took them to overtime they ran out of gas in the fourth quarter.

JSU has to play back to back and it will be an early start gives you a little advantage.

I know this is Bama St. third game in a row, but they played the early game.

I personally want JSU to win becuse they give us our best opportunity to upset at team. Our womens teams have no chance against top ranked teams in the nation

You are 100% correct, but JSU fans talk too much trash. I will always pull for the underdog against them.
As far as JSU dominance is it’s because the big girl in the middle. JSU does have other good players around her, but that run circles around other talented SWAC players. I think JSU win because of their dominance on the boars..

stu have to play 3 straight days, alcorn did get a days rest at this tournament after a OT win on wednesday.
