Tennessee State vs Jackson State Game Thread: 6:00pm CT


Still a lot of things to work on, but good improvement from last week. Sure up that run defense … and let’s feature our stars at wideouts but get more creative in the run game. Coming out game for shaduer… 350 plus , 3 tds, and 0 interception… Business is looking good so far….
 



I guess Eddie George is also going to be one of those "I need the talent round me!" type of coaches. Smh

What team doesn’t need talent ? Ask Grambling , Southern, Alcorn how they’d do without some of the talented players they received over the years to compete in swac title games and celebration bowls…. You can’t coach or scheme if you don’t have the correct talent or talent that fits your scheme… simple and end of discussion… George gone be fine… he’ll tear it down and rebuild and TNSU will be TNSU again moving forward…

End of discussion? Have you never heard of coaching kids up? Have you never heard of kids growing after the age of 17? I think not. "I aont got no talent"...unless your talent is just ABYSMAL then it's a huge excuse for not outhinking your opponent. End of discussion. Talent will NOT win games alone.

Actually Tennessee state came in with a good game plan in the first half but as soon as adjustments were made to win one on one throwing the ball because of … that funny thing called Just being more talented… the lead blew to a blow out… as I said you need talent to play ball with those who are good recruiting. TNSU plays in the OVC… who has programs that run as FBS … your argument proves you don’t know football.

adjust to the adjustment. I'm making the point that it is NOT always talent like some coaches complain about. It's the coach. It starts and stops with him.

Just watched the replay of the game. JSU did solidly good work, especially defensively. And I saw what Mr Game Breaker (Newman) did on the PR. That is hella'. He is a true gem. 30/40 for 350+, 3 TDs, 0 ints????? As a true freshman???? Wow!!!!

Looking forward to the defeat of ulm next week.
