SWAC Coming to Jesus ASAP

Lol he’s emotional right now...you would think his team lost (which they would have) View attachment 9278

So I guess it's my emotions that Nicholls State won the Southland Conference this year and also defeated North Dakota in the first round of the FCS playoff and lost to North Dakota State the next round or is it your knee-grow emotional spiritual ass telling you different. It's long past time for delusional shyt. We need to get real and stop masturbating with ourselves of the thought of being great outside of HBCU football. All NCA&T prove to me this season is that we can still beat up on each other, but beyond that, I doubt they stand a chance. IMO, Broadway was their only hope and then he retired. I'm sure he realized that he had taken Black folks as far as he could. Like at Grambling, I'm sure the man was tired of the BS. And you can keep your copy and paste 7 stages of grief for next year after North Dakota State beat the dog doodoo out of ya'll. LMAO!!!

All I will say is this: The MEAC's signature win this season was SC State over a top 10-ranked Wofford. The SWAC's signature win was AAMU over a North Alabama (a team that finished the season 4-7).

Now, this is not a shot at AAMU. They have no control over how UNA plays the rest of its games, but when you look at the OOC teams that we did lose to (FAMU, Nichols, McNeese, etc) the results tell the story.

Once again, the fine folks from Huntsville save the conference from looking like Negro hillbillies!

.....and this idiot continues to double down on his foolishness......
Again, why in the hell do you continue to interject Nicholls St in a conversation that involves the Celebration Bowl?
"Masturbating with ourselves" - immature, foolish, and unnecessary. This is the best language you can use to pontificate your idiocy??

You have already been given the rundown over the past years with respect to the teams we've beaten OUT OF CONFERENCE - you realize we beat top 10 JacksonVILLE State last year ......not Jackson St.

You realize we beat FBS East Carolina last year.......we beat FCS Elon when they were top 25 this year.
Our record book is littered with OOC FCS and FBS that have fallen victim to us over these past handful of years.

We're playing North Dakota State next year.......
We're playing FBS Liberty next year.......

Our football program ain't scared to compete. We make no excuses for whom we beat or lose to......we prepare week in and week out to beat whomever is next on our schedule.

You really look foolish with everything you state. I just hope some of your SWAC brethren are sending you public/private messages to admonish you on how absolutely foolish you sound......and with your school mascot in your screenname, you are doing your institution a disservice with respect to how foolish you sound. I'm not gonna mention your school's name because, after reading your foolishness, I'm sure it doesn't want to be mentioned in the same sentence as you.

SWAC brethren - pull your boy aside and talk to him. Jag89 is coming off like an ABSOLUTE CLOWN.

What your dumb behind failed to realize, I've always gone beyond HBCU football. I was pissing folks off long before NCA&T became the measuring stick for HBCU football. Collectively, we have way too many internal problems (coaches, administration, nutrition, strength and conditioning, band programs more popular than football programs, etc.) to work on to declare ourselves champs of anything. But if it makes you feel better, dream on with your bad ass. LOL!!!

It has to be your time of the month? Ncat isn’t southern..We actually win our ooc games.. wether you think the teams are sorry or not (your squad couldn’t beat them). It seems extremely common in here to move the goal post when you can’t make a point. I mean ND state is ranked #1 in fcs..It wouldn’t be a travesty if we lose. What’s next? We would never beat LSU? We are not the SWAC...Your focus is band and attendance..Just look at your ooc schedule for 2020 (Trying to be the best hbcu). We Are Not The Same! Happy Holidays and AGGIE PRIDE😂

Whew!!! Anyways, onward and upward to 2020. Coach Washington and staff are already making some recruiting rounds and will bring in even more quality young men to don the Aggie Blue and Gold.

Congratulations on being the Black College Champs!!! Ya'll are completely unstoppable, especially in the football powerhouse area called the Carolinas. LMAO!!!

As a note I stated earlier this year that NC A&T will fall off and go back to being the doormat of the MEAC when Broadway leaves.

It has already begun and people from NC A&T don’t realize it.....

Yes they won the Celebration Bowl only because FAMU’s athletic administration had not taken care of their business.

Congrats A&T on the win but this will probably the last.

IMO, Coach Broadway was the last complete coach I have seen in HBCU football in years. The man knew the game in its entirety. And what I really liked about Broadway, he didn't brag about his acomplishments.

They've won the last TWO Celebration Bowls after Broadway retired. They aren't as good as they were a few years ago, but it would be really disingenuous to say the program is on the decline after smoking Alcorn in a bowl game.

In comparison, Les Miles won the National Championship right after Nick Saban left LSU for the NFL, but after Saban came back , Les Miles couldn't get pass Bama. Eventually, LSU faithfuls realized that Les Miles didn't have what it take to win them another SEC title or National Championship. Just in two years under Coach O., LSU has become the offensive juggernaut of the SEC, with the help of the offensive coordinator that came from the New Orleans Saints. The folks at LSU saw their dilemma and they went all out to fix it. IMO, we need to take a page from LSU when it comes to fixing our dilemmas. As of now, Coach Odums can't get pass Alcorn, which is my school biggest dilemma. And folks criticized LSU for firing Miles and hiring Ed Orgeron as his replacement.

Let's not be crabs in a bucket.....Give A&T their congrats!

We need to do better as a conference... It's not just A&T...we are loosing to other MEAC teams as well...

As someone mentioned earlier.....The SWAC has been terrible in OOC games in recent years.... (And it is not inferior talent...in my opinion)

Lmaoo..This was actually suppose to be a “rebuilding” year after losing soo many seniors..But we see how that worked out...We are on a decline because we didn’t go 12-0 again? Lol we lost to the same 2 teams...but we are on a decline? Lmao and now famu is the reason we won the celebration bowl? Lol seek help!

Southern is the most coulda-woulda-shoulda’est team in BCF this year.

the losses to McNeese, FAMU and Alcorn (esp. in SCG) made for some of the most mind-scratching stuff from fans and nonfans.

Nicholls? Who PV shoulda beat?

LSU offense? LSU hired folks to run their offense under Miles, but Miles got in the way. Coach O was smart enough after one year to lure Brady away from the Saints and LSU has the pockets to lure him away. LSU has talent on the offensive side. Y’all act like LSU was a service academy.

the biggest takeaway from like OOC competition is that SWAC teams sometimes play OOC FCS teams like they’re SWAC teams and lack the mental focus to execute properly. And you see it with the bad penalties and foolish turnovers. That’s a lingering effect of the 9-game schedule ... the mentality of teams prepping for OOC FCS games. The things you can get away in most SWAC games will get you beaten down by decent FCS competition.

it’s fixable with hiring the right coaches for your program and re-education of the fan base to care about ALL games instead of your homecoming and big rivalry game while saying fuck the other games.

The last PV football team to win a championship was in 2009 because we hired Coach Frazier who had been the head coach of Bowie State.

We need to stop hiring coaches who have no prior experience as a winning head coach. Let division 2 (SIAC and CIAA, e.g.) or other teams be the proving ground for our teams. We pay our coaches a lot more than other FCS and division 2 teams to be able to do that.

Yet Jag89 feels we're in a decline. Talk about delusional.

Since you are so concerned about my comments, I guess you didn't read where I said ya'll the greatest of all FCS. Just making sure ya'll beat the crap outta the Notre Dame of Evangelical Christians in Lynchburg, VA. If ya'll don't, that will be a win for the orange fool in the WH and him and his buddies just might split NCA&T's campus into three congressional districts. In other words, no matter how large ya'll become, them other folks in North Kackalacky would just keep dividing ya'll up to keep ya'll powerless. But ya'll still the greatest of all FCS. LOL!!! SU's main campus in Baton Rouge and it's campus in New Orleans (SUNO) are in the same congressional district. Something just ain't quite right in North Kackalacky. LMAO!!!

You do realize that North Carolina is much more politically progressive than most deep south SWAC territory, right?

There aint a state legislature in the deep south that's funding an HBCU like NC is to A&T

They might be better funded, but they have very little to say if any on who represents them in the United States Congress. And a lot of their funding has a lot to do with the economic uptick in North Carolina. But it would deeply concern me if my political power was completely diluted through some divide and conquer/gerrymandered tactic. When it comes to congressional profile, SU has more political influence with SUBR and SUNO being in the same congressional district. The largest HBCU in the country (approximately 12k enrollment) has approximately the same congressional influence as schools with an enrollment of 6k. Ironically, the school they scheduled to play next season Liberty, has more political influence in Virginia and the United States. Jerry Falwell, Jr. makes sure every student enrolled at the Lynchburg campus (approximately 16k) is registered to vote in Lynchburg, VA and the Commonwealth of Virginia, which is how he was able to take politically control of Lynchburg, VA. Thank God the rest of Virginia decided to go in a different direction. Currently, Virginia is completely controlled by Democrats. Also, most of NCA&T's major construction projects are financed through BB&T, the same bank that donated to them $1.5 million for the naming rights of their stadium. BB&T donated $1.5 million for 15 years, which comes to $100k per year. Other schools in North Carolina have gotten better deals from the same bank for the naming rights of their stadiums. NCA&T probably could have gotten a better financial package for their construction projects through some other financial institution without receiving a $1.5 million donation. With over hundreds of millions in construction, BB&T will definitely recoup $1.5 million in a year in interest alone. And I do believe NCA&T's projects are on a 10-year timetable, which means 9 years of profit for BB&T in accrued interest. Just because NCA&T's football program has risen above the rest of our programs for now, I'm definitely not going to crown them the greatest of the greatest of EVERYTHING in the HBCU world. And like the biblical saying, "there's a time and season for ALL things."

Brotha, first off, Merry Christmas.... we in here talking about politics and gerrymandering.... not the swacs failures ..., but politics and gerrymandering... swac 1-5 in Atlanta but politics and gerrymandering........ @Fiyah shut the thread down these folks in here tripping.
