Haymer is the Director of Bands. He can do as he wishes. The tribute was nice. Bands tribute all the time then get ratchet in a dance routine. It's like playing a gospel song in concert formation tributing Jesus and then play Back that thang up in the dance routine. Haymer genuinely respected Griff which is why HE decided to do the tribute. Also, Haymer and Murray are VERY good friends. Alcorn publicly thanked SU on their Facebook page this week. Get off Haymer, he been doing this band director thing for 17 years and is doing far better than most.
