Schedule update:

Alcorn State will play under the Friday Night Lights this season.

Their September matchup at Texas Southern has been moved from a Saturday to a Friday. The Braves and Tigers will now play Friday, September 29th at 8:00pm. It's designated as a non-conference matchup.

An Alcorn spokesman said the reason for the move is a scheduling conflict with Major League Soccer. TSU plays home games at BBVA Compass Stadium, the home of the Houston Dynamo. The Dynamo have a game against Minnesota United on September 30th.

Wow! How does this happen? Competing against high school football in Texas on Friday will be tough. TSU needs it's own staium.
 
Y'all are looking a smart schedule influenced by a smart coach. This is a perfect example of a "let's put together a confidence building schedule" for people to buy into the new system. Don't be shocked at an impressive record by sTu. I don't care how old this gets, but I will keep saying it until someone shuts me up!

That there was a schedule change for one of your games from saturday night to friday night. With that being you may be able to get it on one of the ESPN channels since they do friday night football games.

Our home games are already telecast on Root Sports. I doubt ESPN would pick up an sTu v Alcorn non-conference game in the midst of the football season.

National broadcast that actually stream their product too, not that local station that don't have a streaming channel. The Astro's will still be playing so y'all will be on that alternate channel.
