He wasn't fined by the NFL and he wasn't even suspended by the team.

Save his career how? Cooper wasn't even punished that much, you had folks saying his punishment was laughable. lol..

Crowell wasn't fined by the NFL either. He's "donating" a game check at the behest of the Browns.

Kobe wasn't suspended either. He was fined for using a gay slur toward a ref.

Thank you. Some folk have zero logical reasoning. Do I wish that Crow had donated to some other org? Of course I do. Do I think for one second that Crow wanted to donate money to the fallen officers group? Hell No. Don't call a guy weak for doing what he was advised and pretty much forced to do to make up for his own mistake.

I would call it a mistake. And definitely not one to be 'proud' of. I don't want to see any innocent person put to death unjustly. ANYONE. So to suggest that beheading police officers ESPECIALLY after what happened to INNOCENT police officers in Dallas is something to be 'proud' of (ie swallow your pride and apologize) puts you square in the shoes of the racist police officers and their supporters who also seem to condone the murder of innocent people.
What he did was insensitive and ignorant for someone in his position publically. He should not only apologize, he should mean it and pray that tossing away a game check is a good enough gesture to POSSIBLY KEEP HIS JOB... "swallow his pride". .. Dude better get on his knees and swal... if he wants to keep those game checks coming... #Dumbmistakesstillhaveconsequences

ummm, Crowell's post was made after the Baton Rouge and Falcon Heights, MN shootings, but before the Dallas shootings.

Isaiah apologized (dumb in the first place) but the police officers union said he would not accept Isaiah's apology and he could kiss his ass. Where is the forgiveness? He knows what he did was stupid (we all know it) but if he apologizes why is his apology not accepted? I think it is more indicative of the union 'fellow's' mentality than Isaiah's.

Innocent of crimes punishable by death.. Just like Sterling was innocent.. Might not have been 'innocent' to crime but he was innocent of any crime punishable by death at the hands of those two officers. Those officers in Dallas were innocent of any crime punishable by being picked off like flies while they tried to do their job...

Uhh, yes. But his APOLOGY and subsequent crawfishing is coming under the guise of ALL that has happened.. So,it serves him well to be the UTMOST remorseful because of what subsequently happened in Dallas.. Almost like his post 'prompted' 'incited' or at least, 'encouraged' what subsequently happened in Dallas..
