Money was not the issue with him. He was offered a raise when he got his extension but turned it down. Instead he wanted his assistant to get a raise. He wants to keep the assistant salaries competitive and continue improving facilities and equipment.

The reason is that Alcorn can't afford both.. Either he gets a raise or his assistants. But how many assistants has he lost anyway. I'm sure his assistants are not paid like JSU assistants are.

Do Not EVER think the SEC Schools of Mississippi and USM are not trying to undermine our HBCUs in Any way, shape, or form. They Are always plotting. MS State just came and swooped up in the conversation out of no where. White Folks overall still do not want an HBCU over them.

Ole Piss and MS State know as long as Saban is at Alabama and with the rise of Arkansas as well as LSU and the Egg Bowl itself, neither Ole Piss nor MS State will ever be able to break the ceiling in the SEC West until heaven says so.

JSU's been competitive over the last two decades far more than Alcorn. It's not even close. Just look at the head to head record over the last twenty years.

Dude, you make no sense. Everybody can't win championships every year, but it's better to be in the running than hovering around last place on a consistent basis.

So let me ask you a question, how many championships do you have in all. Last time I checked you had like 66 championships including the 2 back to back ones and Jsu has what 146. Now do the math you are not on Jsu's and will not ever be on Jsu's level regarding to anything:

Dorms- Jsu
Academics- Jsu
Band- Jsu
