Texas AM loses another 5 star QB

The previous QB (Kenny Hill) prior to Kyle Allen transferred to TCU and is a stud. Coach Sumlin is losing his appeal among Texas recruits and c oaches. Watch out for Coach Strong to make a big push this recruiting season.

Strong will not be the beneficiary of this. High school coaches that are loyal to mack brown will still push kids to other schools. OU stands to gain the most since they are the ones who lost more when A&M went to the SEC. More than anything, a potential OU national championship will allow them to regain the footing they lost in Texas. Baylor and TCU will still be there cutting into UT's recruiting as well. Strong is on his way out after next season.

I believe he is pretty solid for now with wins over OK and Baylor. He really had some problems to clean up left by Mack Brown.

Baylor was down to their 3rd or 4th string quarterback and Texas still almost lost. The OU win was good for a week or two but they followed it up by letting Iowa State pitch a shutout, a blow out loss to West virginia and a thanksgiving home loss to Tech. He's not solid by any means.

The starting QB at SMU transferred from Texas A&M as well. He was an Under Armour all American.

Matt Davis (4* QB) - 2013 transfer - starting QB at SMU
Kenny Hill (5* QB) - 2014 transfer - sat out 2015; will more than likely be TCU starter in 2016
Kyle Allen (5* QB) - 2015 transfer - will probably end up at UH and sit out 2016

Bruh don't piss on us. There's a LOT of historical animosity built up by PVAMU elderings over the decades, if not century, due to those people in that place over there w/ respect to how they treated our esteemed alums and people of color in tejas. I won't ever tell one of the elderings that we're not kicking aTm's azz. We are going to kick their azz on their gridiron from sideline to sideline and goal to goal and I hope we win the game lol.

Davis was never going to play qb at a&m as he was going to play wideout ....he was led on to sign him though....once Manziel emerged the others left

You better hope so, considering that he was not the alums first choice in the first place!

The problem now for Texas is they have no big name coach they can get. That shipped sailed when Saban turned them down. Coaches don't like all that I will fire after 2 years talk from schools. Ask LSU how they looked trying to get rid of Les Miles. They got shunned by the media and other coaches. Hell even Saban went off on UGA about Richt. Strong just got to Texas and even though he aint their favorite. Not giving him a chance to clean up that mess Mack left would show a sign to other coaches that Texas has ZERO patience. Especially when the coaching fraternity think Strong is a good coach. Now he does have to win at least 8 or 9 games next season or they may very well get rid of him. But unless they steal somebody's head coach. They will get a non big name. Saban, Urban, Stoops, Brian Kelly etc aint coming. So they could even take a step even farther back.

I think there is something going on with Sumlin. I can see him jumping ship to the NFL or out the SEC in the near future. Kids are getting out of that program left and right.

I do to STC. I am with you on that. I think Sumlin may jump if he gets a NFL offer.

Its something wrong and He makes alotta promises to kids that he can't keep. Murray is good but he is a damn midget playing in the toughest conference on Earf'. Sumlin got backed into a corner by alums and Allen had to leave.
