ALCORN vs SU

The most talent team doesn't always win in football. Alcorn and SU had comparable talent. Alcorn has better coaching point blank. Brain Jenkins went on record after the game and said, SU was by far the most talented team in the conference. They had already played Alcorn.

So because Brian Jenkins said so... Man lay off the sauce!!!

Pete kicked everyone's azz in the 90's with average talent. Doug could never beat him even though he had the more physically gifted team. Scheme beat SU not talent.
Where's that statue of Pete? Without Pete, su wouldn't be jack in recent football history. It's a shame the way su has treated Pete. Just a damn shame.

Wait a minute, so you lost twice to teams that didn't come close to the talent SU has? Seems like I remember that SU only scored SEVEN points but they have a whole bunch of talent. OOOOOOK

You PV Folks must call neurologist Dr. Ben Carson to understand the twisted Jaguar Mindframe:

In their minds, before entering a football season, they believe their only competition in the SWAC West is Grambling. They can't beat Hopson but are angry at him like the Devil because of the system he has brought in the SWAC is a system SU can't beat.

Now Simmons has learned his system from Hopson and spread it to PV. What happens if another Hopson assistant leaves Alcorn or PV and brings the exact system with them to say another SWAC School? Oh wait, Mickey Joseph did at Grambling already. So PV and Grambling in addition to Alcorn now have a specific system SU can't beat. What if another assistant under Hopson's tutelage gets another SWAC Head Coaching gig at say.....TX Southern or Pine Bluff?

The Jags are desperate to figure out the Hopson Mystery. Problem is....Odums can stay at SU as long as he wants LMAO!!!

SU is a passing team. You can't pass in a tropical storm. Y'all can't be that slow. Alcorn had comparable talent. PV has no where near the talent of SU. SU got out coached in both games.

SU beat Gram last season and will beat them again this season.

So I guess Alcorn is a RAIN passing team, they seemed to pass on SU in the same tropical storm you were playing in according to this brother on FB

Was this video altered? Maybe this highlight was from one of your games where it wasn't raining oh wait dude did splash in something, I think it was the same rainwater that stopped SU. Give it up SU when Gramps beat us we just said they got us not because they had less talent or the sun was too bright, that damn Carter and Chester Rogers torched our D PERIOD and #4 is going to work your defense too, they undefeated for a reason.

It's ok just say it with me slowly if you need to "we got beat because they were the better team that day"

THAT DAY is the key phrase because this is the SWAC

You have to admit, that fake was epic, I apologize because I laughed

Is these stats within the conference or overall stats? U have to take in account we played Georgia and La tech. Against those two teams we didnt pass while at all against them. Plus if these stats include the Alcorn game we played in, the weather had a factor in what we wanted to do and that is passing the ball. If the weather was different not to say we would've won but the game would've been closer. Watch how different we look at the bayou classic inside a dome. Like i said stats like bikinis they show somethings not all things.

Those are conference ONLY stats. Look @ column#2 (# of [SWAC] games).

Lets not attempt to locate another excuse. :( I thought you were better than this. :(

Does that play have anything to do with talent lol. They threw the ball 3-4 times the entire game. We didn't even attempt to throw the ball down field, well maybe once or twice. We weren't prepared to play and that's all on our coaches. Again Alcorn doesn't have more talent than SU. They are comparable, with SU having more.

dezjaguar, what is this? Alcorn was the ONLY one that could pass that day? lol
I wouldnt say that. Smh. How many times Alcorn passed the ball saturday? Even we had some completions? That pass just blown coverage. Alcorn is the leading rushing team within the conference so playing that style of play was what they easier for them. We love to throw the ball around we couldnt do it. Thats y the score was lopsided. U show that clip but i bet u Alcorn ran the ball more times then they threw the ball? Show those clips and stats plus they didnt kick to Quinn.

Plus we played two straight weeks in storms, which killed our passing game.

We played in storms two straight weeks. Hurricane vs TSU and a tropical storm vs Alcorn. Before that, we were in the top two in all offensive categories.
