It didn't take much effort to admit that Stump sucked. Dude lost nine games in one season.
Jackson was one game under .500 and defeated the SCG champs.

If you can say Valley beat JSU, I can say Alcorn beat su and I can say Hopson owns Odoms just like JSU owns su at Mumford.

It makes Comegy the coach that had taken JSU to back to back SWAC Championship Games, and it also makes Jackson the man who took over a program that had just played for a championship the previous year to only winning 5 games and losing to that former coach on homecoming. Ya'll can spin it any way you want to, but there is no excuse to going from playing in championships to struggling to win 5 games with the talent Comegy left. #badcoach

We are asking you what has comegy done to be considered a good coach at Valley. We know what he has done here, which is under achieve for 7 years and winning 1 ship. What has he done for Valley?
 
If y'all are going to compare Comegy and OMJ then you can say that one is proven winner as a HC and the other one(OMJ) is not.

So if that is the case, how how do you explain Comegy taking his team to back to back SCGs and THEN only winning three games. Did you ever answer that? At least OMJ had to start over with EVERYTHING... Comegy took the same players and the same system and won three games. Please explain.

Also, you do know that Comegy struggled with Valley every year right? Even had to go into OT with him when we had Therriault.

No it does not because you dont have a lot to go by with OMJ. Do you know Comegy went 0-22 to start his career?

Also, the question was deviated. You all were saying that OMJ is a bad coach. My question was how can you say he is a bad coach after just one season? AND how you can you say he is a bad coach based on him only wining 5 games at JSU when Comegy only won 6 his first year and then only won THREE 4 seasons later. That does not make sense to me.

How many folks from that championship ( let me rephrase how many starters that contribute to JSU success the first two seasons did we have # 1 Clayton Moore did all of the passing and half of the running, We had Tommy Gooden, a healthy Rakeem Sims and Clayton Moore was the other RB options! We had a 4-3 Defense and folks in the correct skilled position to make plays. We also Turned the ball over plenty of times, a million of penalty gave almost every team another free set of downs due to not being discipline enough or running into the kicker! I wouldn't expect you to know every thing when you only attend 3 of JSU games per year! ( Valley, JSU vs Alcorn and the Boombox classic) you do understand that we been the SWAC championship 5 times ( 4 with Comegy and only won once) Hell we lost 1999 with a different coach and it was only 30-31 to SU! ( ps I know you would not understand because Valley has never won the EAST)

so with 75% of the scoring and offense and a new defense scheme and a young team ( new starting QB yield us 5-7) at any point JSU could have been 7-5 /// Valley your win was a Flaw with 1 minute left in the game and you had a 4th 19th it the pass would have been bat down you would have LOST to JSU! ( I know you going to come back with woulda coulda but I am explaining because you have nothing else to say but the same BS, and if JSU would have beat you then what would you be saying OMJ was 6-5 just like comegy was 6-5 his first year!

save all that for 2014., when we are in 2015 and 95% of that offense is back and 85% of that defense is back!

First part of your answer. J state aint gone beat valley. Second part of your question comegy won against valley i dont care about they almost, moral victories, and close games, comegy won against valley and is a good coach. J state coach now that yall have is worst than James Bell.

But it's cool. Bell won TWO games his first year.. he went 2-10 and THEN he had lost his team by November. We got slaughtered by bad teams like AAMU and Alcorn. On the flipside, OMJ never lost his team. They stuck together, won their last two and now they are ready to win the SWAC!
