Do you realize how many times the West title has come down to SU and Gram in the BC? You don't know your history. Lol. 2003 probably should have been for the SWAC title.

He is saying SU is never good at the same time Gram is. That is not true historically. Hell when y'all got in the mix was because both Gram and SU were down together. Spears fell off and became a distraction. Broadway righted the ship the second year he was there and then Pete fell off. Broadway quits and Gram had the one run with Doug returning and that was it. Both were struggling after that. Now SU and Gram are back dangerous again as it should be. The BC should always be for the West. More drama then.
 
which now proves my earlier point as us getting into the mix changed alot of things....BC for the West Title will happen every purple moon or so..lol.....the margin for error is so slim now as one error early on changes everything...in the past you could coast to the BC

JSU defense got Robbed out some 1st team All SWAC but I think Postseason All SWAC is more important! I'm going to put this out there two! JSU didn't run the ball that much last year but both RB's are avg 4.8 or 4.6 yards a carry! A New offense line and if they would have had more handles, would have been about 5 yards per carry! Both Avg about 40 yards per , JSU returning defense its better than what they appear to be 6 just UAPB 6 are in the TOP 50 of SWAC that returned!

I'm more concerned with why they feel he knows what he is doing because he came from LSU....also why isn't he still at LSU.

You know players and fans automatically think the world of a coach from an FBS program. I can't answer the second part, maybe he wanted to be the head guy in charge instead of an assistant.

Perception - especially in those neck of the woods

Peoole don't get the lsu coaches are coaching the best athletes available so it looks like they know more

Me personally, I'm not a fan of Gale Hatch and his Stregnth program. I remember Chad Jones and that saftey from LSU that plays for the Redskins, not being able to lift 225 9 times lol.

At least Pete kicked butt when he first got to SU, but after this season, OMJ would have made a half million plus $38k ($538,000 to be exact) in just two seasons and he still have yet to prove himself. That's not just plain crazy, that's completely insane to pay a washed up position coach that much money on the FCS level.

What does joking about how a person talk have to do with a legitimate sports discussion? You don't want anybody talking about any school but it's a green light on JSU. I don't have any problems with jokes but you purposely target one school and say nothing about the other schools that do the same stuff. That's why when you cop pleas to Kenn about certain JSU posters it falls on deaf ears. Nobody wants to see a grown man whine stop being a hypocrite

It's even insaner to pay a coach a half million when you KNOW he's washed up yet you still give him the money.
