I think JSU is going to be alright next year.. I know I ALWAYS SAY THAT ... LOL but the JSU defense and special teams had the ability to perform as they did in November the whole season but our DC was too stubborn. OMJ wasted no time firing his azz Monday morning. I KNOW we could have beat Valley, Grambling, and PV! We should have been AT LEAST 8-4 this year. I didn't see the AAMU game so I won't comment on that and vs AlaState we played a good half but lost two o-linemen and couldn't move the ball anymore in the second half. We have a SLEW of linemen coming in next year! :clap:

Yeah yall needed some OL. Ivy was taking too many hits back there. Never seen JSU OL look like that before.

What about Chang? I know some JSU folks in the know want his arse gone too.

Nah, Chang is safe. Chang's offense needs to stay on the field and get into a rhythm in my opinion. Therefore, we NEED a defense that can get the other team off the field. OMJ is blaming offensive woes on the o-line; not Chang. We had defensive players.. we just had BAD defensive coaching.

Alcorn and Southern a few short years ago had 33,000 people at a game in Lorman, so I new that game was going to be well attended and Alcorn would show up. I have seen Alcorn come across the hump @ S.U. in droves before also, loud mouth and all. :lol: :emlaugh:

I agree TP. It took a season to implement Chang/Jackson system. Notice the team improvement as the season progressed. Ivey has to lead the offense and make sure his homeboy get the touches he deserves.

To be honest, I thought the official count was off from the very beginning. I attended last year's game and this past Saturday's game, and there is no way I can be convinced the crowd was the same. I thought more Southern fans showed up this time and Alcorn did a good job of repping also.

I think it was more this year too but you never know how they do those ticket sales. They could have been "tickets sold" or actual attendance. I'm sure that a LOT of people last year who bought tickets didn't get to come. I'm glad i flew in EARLY Friday morning.

Yep and some people don't realize that. It takes time when a new system is introduced. Some JSU idiots talking about petitioning and having Jackson fired, etc......sit the f down somewhere. They expect us to just win win win no matter what. Give it a lil' time. Look at Charlie Strong with Texas. Sure a lot of Texas fans are disappointed because they only won six games but it's a new system. Takes time. They don't realize that if you fired, Chang, Jackson, etc....then what you got.....the same players.....that couldn't block, etc.....doing the same thing under a new coach. Development is the key.

Don't know if we still talking about attendance..
Them Alcornites were everywhere....like bugs...I was like dayum "are we outnumber by Alcorn" Lol..but they are some cool peeps..had a good time..
I had a great time..from the moment I got to the stadium...(who made the green um.drink) I had about 6 cups LMAO...I was good and lit before the game...(thought it was green kool-aid) but nevertheless, the setup was amazing...This is what we have to get back too..

Frankie/Maze had a youngin dayum near crying on "WE ARE ONE" *tears*...
The parties was oh my goodness of the chain...The whole weekend was amazing...I can't even complain at all..we lost, but I still enjoyed myself and the Alcorn fans..
Yall some cool ppls..

Hope SU gets back there next year and it don't be cold..this is one event that I hope will be bigger next year...

I was surprise..the plugs on the radio leading up to the event..the parties that FRIDAY and SATURDAY

I met alot of ppl who wasn't from neither school at the game (women at that) Lol..but they were saying that they wanted to come and see the ppl..

but yea they need to keep it going...

Dude the tailgating thing/party was on POINT!!..it was setup nice...free food and again..that green juice (who made that shat) LOL...

I think last year..it was just cold as shat...but the only thing this time was missing was the sun...it was a nice nice setup..i was very surprised and shocked..

There were a lot of SWAC fans attending from the other eight schools as well as the casual fan that didn't even have SWAC backgrounds.

I have not heard not one person say they did not have a great time in Houston. Really hate I was not able to go because of work. See yal Jags on the Bluff next year and someone save me some darn gumbo lol

Man, those who couldn't make this game/event, missed out...again the concert set it off...it was on time and on point...
The tailgate party was amazing...the whole city of Houston/radio stations...plugged the game..it was truly a good event..
It was alot of local Houston/surrounding area ppl at the game..

I enjoyed myself from the time I arrived on Thursday until I left Sunday. After I started to remember some of the side streets I used to take when I lived there instead of being stuck in traffic it was on. Things have really changed over in the SW and Sharpstown area, WOW :tdown: .

I plan on going next year regardless of who is playing. Last year I canceled because of the weather. The forcast said that I could get out but might not be able to get back in because of the ice, I stayed home.

We ate at the same tailgate if that was the one in the Blue lot. My cousins and some their friends with a combination of other SWAC alums got together on it.

Had I got their earlier, I prob would have stopped by C-lebs's and nem TxSo tailgate and I parked right by the Houston Alumni Chapter of Alcorn tailgate. Lots of Ques were over there. But I was across the street at Papadeaux's eating some HOT AZZ red beans and rice, with sausage and grilled shrimp. That shitt was HOOOOOOOOT! :lol:
