Different scheme different team. Football is a game of match ups and SU matches up really well with GSU.

It's not that hard to be a top rated defense when the conference your team plays in is horrible on offense... and in Norfolk's case you haven't even played the best offense in that conference.

Like I said, you need to read my post. I already stated that NSU offense was garbage. But there defense is good. BCC defense is good as well. Say what ya'll want about both teams, but the fact is that both defenses are good and a low scoring game was expected.

At the end of the day, that was a putrid display of football. I know you're a little defensive because gram lost to them, but trying to defend that hot mess isn't going to make your team any better.

At the end of the day, you saw two teams that have proven that they have good defenses. In fact, you saw two teams that would be successful in the SWAC.

Please keep believing that we are one dimensional. Ya'll thought the same thing in 2005 after Valley gave us a tough game. One game is one game, another is another. We could easily say that Alcorn showed us the way to expose SU. However, we know that means nothing come BC time.


SU's azz is ours come Nov 29.

Yeah man they are highly rated defenses... never disputed that fact. The game being low scoring isn't the issue. Did you WATCH the teams though? That LSU-Bama 9-6 game had more offense than this.

UAPB offensive philosophy with better coaching but not as good a QB (no slight on J. Williams though).
 



So these folks made that we have a quarterback that can make things happen. Keep in mind we have Johnson also.:read:
 
Seems like yall hating because Williams makes things happens, lol. Real Talk I don't know who's the quarterback at SU. No smack.

OK, Cool. And that is what I was thinking BD was saying too. And to that, I say what lilrj said. Don't just focus on Williams. Keep in mind, Williams was the 3rd string QB when the season started. When Fobbs made the comment at the beginning of the season that any of our QBs could be the starter, he wasn't lying. S. Johnson had secured the starting position. He was balling. Just ask the J-State folks. He, unfortunately, lost the starting spot due to injury. DJ got injured in the PV game and then J. Williams comes in and takes over.

But make no mistake about, we can run with our RBs if we need to. My only criticism is that we don't run enough at times, but it certainly isn't because a team has stopped us from running.

I'm just saying.
