I saw the Hornets in the Atl airport last night. They look young, like lil kids. And short.:lol:
I think this might be Lewis' best job. They won 19 games.
You don't want to see this gutless 2nd half performance. The Hornets gave up a long time ago.
SHSU 70
ASU 47
1:30 2nd
SU had to pay and did. SU didn't turn it down....went on to play Tulane and got whooped. Should have not accepted.Ya'll just don't know what hating is. IF I was hating, I would have took what I THOUGHT I knew, looked it up and threw it in your face. However, I recall that SUs women got an invite a few years back and they turned it down because the tournament was not paying anything and SU at the time could not afford it or was not willing to spend the money. If I am recalling incorrectly, please correct me.
Don't go out like this ASU!

Then why not just look up your question about the traveling expenses?
I told Lewis the same thing several weeks ago. He loves this group and said they were coachable. He looks to improve next year by securing more size. A FBS grad was with him when we were talking.
The Hornets just didn't come to play tonight. They forced plenty of turnovers, but refused to pull the trigger. They played the second half like they had enough of basketball for this season. SHSU took the second half on a platter.
We'll get'em back in football on Aug.30th. :lecture:
I don't know why Sam Houston wasted $30K to host this game; it's not like they will recoup their money with ticket sales. Oh that's right, it's all about the "soft money" right TT?
Did you see the attendance? 474 SHSU paid $63.291139 dollars for each person in attendance. They can send me my check.
Isn't that what you constantly do on here?
Did you get that info from the SHSU Athletic web site? Isn't it marvelous when a school updates their athletic web site? TSUBall.com. :smh:
As it relates to playing these games, SHSU is on the cusp of competing for a SLC title. You get the younger guys (most of the key players are soph and jr) a chance to get some more experience in 'meaningful' games as preparation for making a good run at a SLC title and all the great stuff that comes with either winning the regular season or tournament title. This specific reason is stated by many major and mid-major schools for their participation. Quite frankly, nice to see SHSU come to play and clearly dominate Alabama State. Don't necessarily agree with the financial model for what amounts to a fourth tier tournament, but if SHSU gets a little run, they have an opportunity for some games on CBS College Sports. That'd be nice and again... think SHSU has more to gain from the extra practices, meaningful games as it launches itself towards next year.
