This is where I stopped reading. "Not too long ago", JSU got its shit together and was praised for it by the actual NCAA. Four years later, our counterparts are making the same mistakes.

This conference is poorly managed and it will die a slow death. Yall are upset because someone had the balls to verbally say what everyone in America, both Black and White, have been saying. Maybe if Stephen A. Smith delivered the commentary, it wouldn't sting as much for some

APR rate is base on the academic progress of the athlete's at the school on a four year calculation not the college.

Seems like the audience is just as stupid as the messenger.

And that's the sad part. Many of these folks are arguing and don't know what the hell the APR is, its purpose, or the REAL reason for its existence.

:lol: It is very disheartening.

You would think the "dues" that JSU had to pay 4 years ago would have served as a blue print for everyone. Hell nah, we have incompetent fools making avoidable mistakes which cause their student-athletes to be labeled as "the stupid teams".

If your university officials failed to follow Jackson State's blueprint from 2010 and has found itself BANNED in 2014, you deserve to be labeled as "the stupid teams". :lol:

But they hired Mason so he could make them Great like Jackson State.

Even if the said ban is for the same time frame ? You guys make it sound like in SU's case that our current kids have APR issues. In PBs case they have shown where the NCAA fugged up.

We all know that Mason would rather be at Howard. Had they not turned him down, those half-breeds in Baton Rouge would be in a worse situation by now. :lol:

JR, we all know that many variables can effect APR. The fact that JSU championed those issues should have helped every HBCU avoid those mistakes. Whether it be incompetent university officials or students not matriculating, there is no one to blame in 2014 but Southern.
