JR, why didn't the NCAA tell su folks all of this in the first place? Why did they have your people running around at midnight scraping up records when they obviously knew there wouldn't be enough time to make a decision in the first place?
Evidently the paperwork turned in wasn't worth the paper it was typed on, so the NCAA said to hell with it....southern university, YOU ARE BANNED!!
 
sujag, it'll be quite unusual not to have Cador in the tournament. Oh well....cheating will eventually catch up with you. Either the NCAA don't like su or they know to keep an eye out for cheaters.:smh:
Out of ALL the school, it's highly unlikely su would be one of the first ones chosen. There had to be a method to the NCAAs madness for choosing su to request their records. They obviously knew something wasn't right way back in 2010.

Just take that NCAA spanking and move on.....the rest of us did. Fix what's broke and keep it moving. If those you have in place cannot get it done find some one(s) who can. The NCAA ain't joking with this APR stuff nor faulty "paperwork" (wink wink). Pine Bluff ain't whining and they are in the same position. So is GSU and they are not bitching and moaning. Don't worry about what school I attend shit for brains or who I go for. You are the worst mod on this damn board and you keep talking about BRCC, PV probably couldn't beat them in anything not even football and they don't even field a team. Clown.

24hrs each day. 7days a week meeting deadlines and submitting "unusable data".

I didn't read all 5 pages after you posted this comment...so maybe someone replied.

But this is what confused me after the other SU APR threads got closed or move. I started to make a new thread to discuss the whole "double jeopardy" idea that was being put out there but just decided to leave it alone because I realized the SU folks on this board really didn't know what was going on (no smack...it's the truth clearly by the fact that y'all kept saying it was fine and now you're banned).

There was no double jeopardy. To simplify what happened...SU didn't take care of business before and provide the necessary paperwork back then...so that's why this resurfaced.

Whenever "back then" was...SU never took care of business. That's why people are saying y'all never should have been able to play for the SCG. That's not my argument. The game was great and I wouldn't have wanted to play any other team in the SWAC in Houston.

So it's not double jeopardy. SU had plenty of time to fix this and didn't. Then SU admins are quoted in the article talking about folks are working around the clock to fix this, folks should get raises and bonuses to fix this. STFU. That's sad. Embarrassing. Really unfortunate for the student athletes. :smh:

Can someone please share the time frame (year) that J4L is referring to when he says, "Back then"...so we can all get a clear picture on how long SU has had to clear this mess up?!

I started from page 1 and now im here....boy I tell you lol. I do not know what is worse, JR responding to every taunt or -jagbr getting his panties in a bunch. From what I have seen idk why yall hate jsu so much lmao. Su has us beat by a mile arrogance wise. To cheer against a swac rep because your team cannot go is pitiful on so many levels. Regarding the apr situation, I feel that they should keep their little championship. We do not want to be swac champs by default, we are already legit swac east champs no question about it. My issue with this entire thing is that you are trying to tell me that since 2009, your compliance workers have done nothing? Shouldn't you have ppl in charge of that? Ppl that will work around the clock because it is their job, not because the NCAA is making you.
