SU faces postseason ban

Some guy who works for CBS said on Twitter that he spoke to the NCAA and they told him this 2 weeks ago but there was no link so I didn't post it. He was going back and forth with a SU alum about it

Hope they clear this up as well because this is the type of team that a #1 like Wichita State don't wanna see

Especially pre this AD and pre Banks. But it is what it is. LaFluer fell asleep at the wheel and folks say we shouldn't have fired him for looking for honeys in H-town.
 
This is sad because students attend our HBCU's with the confidence that administrators will take care of all business, however, this APR monster has struck at 8 of our swac institutions. The problem isn't the student athletes, yes a few of them might quit prior to graduation. HBCU's are full of administrators, directors and coordinators who are in charge but they have a lack of effective leadership skills, integrity and they simply don't know how to "GET THE JOB DONE".

This is also no time to criticize these student athletes by calling them derogatory names like most of ya'll did to JSU and SU football players back in 2011. Those players had nothing to do with the lack of supervision by athletic administrators five years earlier. This is a serious situation that can derail the goals, aspirations and dreams of a college athlete who is on the right track by simply attending college.

Nope. This is why Sandy put our former AD on blast for not doing his job back then. I feel bad for Llorens, Broussard, Sandy and Banks because they had no doing in this and of course these athletes who are competing now. I remember when our former AD told the Board and the media he had all the NCAA inquiries under control. Apparently not. Hope SU hasn't sent that severance check yet.

I concur! On the bright side, we have competent administrators in Dr. Llorens and Dr. Broussard, and I feel certain they will get the job done.

Broussard said he has all the confidence in the paperwork he submitted. That's all I needed to hear :tup:

Cool. I trust Will that he did it right. Just hate he had to clean up someone mess that should have been avoided. Will probably deserves an extension.
 
Never trust a politician and a sexual predator. The only thing they have on their mind is puzzy and money, which is why LaFleur should have never been hired as SU's AD. Also, most SU grads knew that LaFleur got the job because of politics.

I told you guys about your ban I believe a few days after we played ya'll (I got the word about it the night we played ya'll) or after the championship game in another thread and ya'll ignored me and I mention the other teams that will see bans again!

The positive side of this for S.U. is it is reversible this season. This isn't new to S.U. folks that post in the private forum.

I don't recall you mentioning this. I wonder why certain folks in the know tried to keep this massive news covered up since early December on ALL sports, not just mens and women's basketball.
If the sanctions are implemented, it will be interesting to see if the SWAC will mandate the SCG title be vacated like they did for Texas Southern.
Don't even know if I'd wish this on them.

Seems like there will be a monumental task to try and recover information from as far back as 2003 though. Again, all I can say is "WOW!!

Ok let me educate the unsmart guy AGAIN. ( I never intend to disappoint)

1) The reason that it was kept a secret is because it would have hurt recruiting ( where's the flashlight icon when you need it?)

2) This isn't a NCAA violation in terms of cheating

You just kept showing the world just how unsmart you are.
