Football Scoop is reporting Jackson State: Lane head coach Derrick Burroughs is joining the Jackson State staff as defensive coordinator per sources.

JSU, what you all think? (Lol)

Hold up, this is AD and Head Coach at Lane and he is leaving to take an position spot at JSU???

There is nothing like coaching at JSU. I am sure we are going to pay him well to do ONE job instead of two... and he gets to coach at the MIGHTY JSU instead of Lane.

LOL. JSU has to defend everything, huh?

He took over a program that came off probation, probably due to some Johnnie Cole foolishness... His first year, he went 0-11 and his teams got better every year.

Just to let ya'll know, Comegy was 0-22 at Cheyney so again, sometimes, it's the school; not the coach. Many of you rave about Karl Morgan but his record is horrid...even worse than Totten's.

Nah, YOU want something to be wrong with it. Some people may not want to coach at schools that have little support. I am sure Lane gets very little football support. He went 6-4 this year but i bet it took everything that school had to get a winning record..LOL

I am also sure, he was doing things by the books and trying make sure his kids graduated. Not some Johnnie Cole stuff.

JSU is simply a better job. .. u know it.

yeah, I saw he had slight improvement over the years at Lane, he's a good .500 type of coach. You never know though, some coaches are better at being assistance than head coaches. The next coach you all hire must be the one jsu plans on "grooming." :lol: :emlaugh:

It does not matter who the HC is at JSU.... they will dominate SU.

yea because of the 1920s..

But Gordon, Hughes, and Comegy dominated ya'll. Ya'll got off easy when we hired ****. Big Daddy was the only real JSU coach, ya'll beat and he was 3-5 vs SU.

Dude, I bet if you create a thread on who SU's DC is, I bet NO ONE could tell you without looking. I know I can't. PLEASE don't try to down another teams staff. You know how bad yours is?
