If true, talk about uninspiring. Dude is damn near 70. How long is he realistically gonna be there?

Figured ya'll were going for someone younger to bring some more energy to the program.

Resume is nice though.
 
A native of Hattiesburg, Miss., Jackson played his collegiate football at Jackson State University and is a member of both the Mississippi and JSU Sports Hall of Fames. A 1968 JSU graduate, his hometown of Hattiesburg held Harold Jackson Day and presented him with a key to the city. Over the years, he has been active as a speaker for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Hattiesburg Department of Recreation.

Harold and his wife, Carolyn, have one son, Brandon.

It's not a sexy pick but maybe it will work out for JSU.

I think a lot of times schools may overreact and go to far to the extreme of replacing the previous guy with a polar opposite individual.

I wonder who made the call on this hire?

If this is true......there is a heavy fat guy sitting on his sofa eating pig feet laughing his *** off. I REFUSE to believe this until it become official........Not MIGHTY JSU! Footballscoop is what the name is........football scoop........without the facts............This can not be true.........

Football Scoop does a pretty good job of getting it right the 1st time around.

It sounds like a safe hire.

Too safe if you ask me!
 
that's why I don't believe it...TP said they got all the money down there and JSU is a major stage in BCF...the fanbase is the best in BCF and what coach would turn down the "Mighty JSU" its the best job in America
