2014 Sugar Bowl

Some of yall are just in denial about how sorry SEC defenses were this year. I didn't see one legit defense in the entire conference.

We are witnessing the beginning of the end of the SEC Dominance in College Football.

Ironic that the Pistol No-Huddle Offense, which has become the Kryptonite of the SEC, was actually loosely based upon Spurrier's Fun-N-Gun at Florida of the 90s.

I bet Spurrier deep down is laughing his ass off at coaches like Saban, who take football so seriously

Valley was running that in the early 80's.

this is what happens when you have comparable talent and you stand up to and attack the bully. This is what happens when you attack and make lil Nicki actually have to coach.

Stoops took a page out of the old Spurrier's playbook...doing gamesmanship through the media .

Spurrier and SWAC Coaches in the 90s use to talk all types of shit to opposing teams. Spurrier did it to Manning and UT and we all know how HBCU coaches did it.

These 2000s coaches like Saban, Meyer, etc. aren't use that shit talking before a game. They take it so seriously to where it gets under their skin and makes them do crazy things .

Rex Ryan, Spurrier, and coaches that talk shit are my heroes.

No they lured Bama into playing their game. Bama should have pounded them into submission instead of trying to play like SU :) and throw the ball all over the field.

Did I miss something, or did the NCAA reduce football games to two quarters? I coulda sworn it was halftime. Duke led A&M right about this time last night, and we saw how that turned out. And as for this being the death of Saban and the SEC, I will only paraphrase the quote ... "rumors of Saban's demise are greatly exaggerated"...

Bama is not a "hell with it, we'll shoot the game out and blow up the scoreboard" type of team. Even when they score 40 points, they like to be methodical. Methodical takes time. Methodical goes out the window when you down by 3 TDs. Luckily, Bama is only down by 14. But Oklahoma gets the ball to start the 2nd Half.

Isn't that making lil Nicki actually have to coach....that is my point....Nicki builds programs, accumulates GREAT Quantities of talent and then plays the game by the book....My talent is just bigger, faster, and stronger than yours rule. Keep it simple and hope that the other teams lays down, gives in, or just is to afraid to try anything to stand up to them or attack them (LES MILES). Most teams play them to try and stay in the game, tonight OU is playing them to win. That is not in the LIL NICKI PLAYBOOK....Kevin Sumlin plays lil Nicki to win not just stay in the game, problem this year was they absolutely have the worst defense in the world...lol Auburn attacked them and ended up winning...I'm not saying that OU or Auburn have more talent than Alabama, but if you make lil Nicki come out of his confort zone and do what he doesn't expect you to and you have comparable talent then this is the result a lot of times....(UAB, Ole Miss., Iowa, Utah, etc...)
