The Cleveland Cavaliers suspended center Andrew Bynum indefinitely Saturday for conduct detrimental to the team. In addition, the Cavs will begin aggressively looking to trade Bynum, sources told ESPN.com.

The team has until Jan. 7 to decide if it will guarantee his contract for the rest of the season. Bynum signed a two-year, $24 million deal with the Cavs last summer but the team-friendly contract was only $6 million guaranteed.

I say trade him to Miami....he needs an environment where there are leaders to control him. Similar to the situation with Dennis Rodman playing in Chicago. He got around guys who basically said, "Nicca (Rodman) you act a fool we goin kick your ass then pay the team to have you fired instead of traded."

Threaten to put his (Bynum) ass completely out of the league. He would wake up then and STFU and play ball.

Yeah, cause the Cavs are really in the business of helping the Heat.

You got shot knees and still acting like it's 2009-2010? He's gonna blackball himself right out of the league...

I say trade him to the spurs, there one big man away from dominitating like the old Robinson-Duncan days. Bynum has much respect for Timmy from the past playoff battles..
It would be a win-win for both sides.

Bynum has natural ablity but he ain't worth crap because of his attitude, ego, and he is lazy as hell. No way I would take him on my team unless I wanted to show the other players how fast I can cut someone.

Who will San Antonio give up?

Oklahoma City might bite on a trade....Perkins is less talented, but has more heart........and throw in others. A motivated, non crazy eyed, on his medication, and not janking and laughing on the bench Bynum could really help Oklahoma City.

Bynum cant help anybody. His knees are shot. Bynum has a degenerative knee condition which of course means its going to get worse. I think the Cavs have an out in this contract where they are not obligated to Bynum after this year, or he has an easy by out clause. They are not obligated to him for multiple years.

He signed a two year deal for $24 million, but only $6 million is guaranteed. They're trying to trade him now because the contract becomes fully guaranteed if he's still on the roster come January 7.

Any team with aspirations of winning the championship would not trade him to the Heat, why make the rich richer and make it harder for you to win it all. (unless they can pull off a Bynum for Lebron trade)

Miami already has a bad knee project going with Lebron James daddy on the team. They arent going to take on another dude with bad knees.

But if you trade the vet (Perkins) away who basically serves as the muscle on the team with championship experience, who steps in? Fisher?

If Bynum goes there with his mentality, do Durant and Westbrook have enough to keep him in check?

Since we are speaking hypothetically, the Spurs would make more since but I dont know if Pops want a big man with bad knees with a bad attitude and lazy. Sure he definitely has what it takes to straighten him out but is Bynum worth it? He might have 1-2 decent years left with those knees.

The folks in OKC consider Perkins a useless commodity. He basically can't play basketball, they say.

He is not a useless commodity. They should not want him to think he can play. They need him to give them 4 or 5 good hard ones a game to anyone that going to come thru the paint. After that just rebound, make layups and stay out the way. A good game stat-wise for him is when he fouls out.

Perkins averages 2 points and 3 boards a game this season while being owed $18 million over the next two seasons.

Andrew Bynum Allegedly Slept With Coach’s Wife
