What did he do against some of the better defenses in the SWAC, He didnt put up 300 yrd numbers against A&M and JSU in fact he average less than 250 yards against those teams not to mention Northwestern State who defense is barely in the top 50 like I said before he is DECENT for SWAC play...
u boasting over putting putting up numbers against Valley Pine Bluff Alcorn and Praire View REALLY DUDE??????? When faces a defense with a clue he averages 250 and thats because u guys dont have a running game!

Dude...you cant tell these uuuuuh unsmart people a damn thing. SU is in the bottom half of the SWAC in scoring offense.
Let me repeat that.
For all these statements about WRs and QBs......
SU IS IN THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE SWAC IN SCORING OFFENSE
They are right above Valley, A&M, Gram, and TXSU. The bottom half.....I wouldnt be bragging on offense and QBs and WRs if my team ranked 6th in the SWAC in scoring. Even Grambling has improved offensively since those cowards ran from MightyJSU. But for some reason we have to sit here every week talking about this explosive offense SU is suppose to have.

So, who is Qua taking? Doss? Menard? Speedy? Maybe Morgan? And Quinn has been a little quiet as of late ..... good luck to Mr. Cox.

Which proves to me James Bell was right....glad you confirmed you were a part of that 99%, youngster.
He averages 262/game against the top 5 defenses in the SWAC with the most (in that group) coming against Alcorn (#3 in total defense). That is nothing to sneeze at.
Can't lie... That freshman in the d-line is the man to worry about. He has time to get healthy before the SCG.

The final score said that they weren't even remotely close to dropping 50 points on SU. But beating SU by 5 points means they beat us by 50 points.
That Jacksonese logic is beyond flawed.

If he is averaging 262 against good defenses and your running game is only getting 50 yards a game and you are only scoring 24 points a game....whats the point. You are not as good as you think you are.

Im keep trying to teach yall how to read stats. Not talking specifically to you J4L, but for the most part yall are the biggest idiots Ive ever seen. You guys sadly know NOTHING about football. Ignorance is bliss. I keep trying to tell yall that stats, for the most part, are almost meaningless.
JSU is not 5th, we are 4th. Above us is PB AAMU and Alcorn. Most good teams with winning records have medicore pass defenses on paper because they are up at the end of the game and they give up meaningless passing yards just to run down the clock. In our last two games we gave up 80 yards to AAMU and PV at the end of the game while we were up 2 scores.
AAMUs qb was 10-29 passing and I dont think he even looked at a WR outside the hashes. He got about 100 meaningful yards and he got those in the 1st quarter....but he ended up with 195 passing yards...looks decent on paper.
Plus, sometimes when a team has a good pass defense on paper, that means their run defense is terrible. One year Alcorn had the top pass defense in the country but that was only because they had the worst run defense in the country. If a team can run on you, they dont pass the ball. This year, PB has a good pass defense on paper but their run defense is so bad that nobody has to pass the ball on them. Even SU successfully ran the ball on PB.
In no way does Alcorn or PB have a better pass defense than JSU. But on paper they do. Now AAMU on the other hand does have good a good pass defense. I dont know how they blitz all those people and still have several people in coverage.
So be careful when you read stats
