Seven FCS teams cash in via upsets

That was a one time deal and an experiment by our ex-AD. I had forgotten about that, I admit. It probably won't happen again.

From the write up after the game:

" In what was only the 10th game ever played in the afternoon in Cowboy Stadium since it was constructed in 1965."

The rest were playoff and TV games.

Thank you for agreeing with me that both Southern and USL are afraid. The first step is to admit you have a problem...

Maybe now you can enter Jaguar Rehab. You know, a 12 Step program....

Okay, UAPB fans out there, I collect hats of the opponents we play and put pin them on the walls of my office (see picture below). I need an UAPB hat for my collection. So, if any of you guys (or gals) are coming of the game, could one of you bring me a hat. I'll pay for it and we will give you plenty of food and drink. If not, point me to where I can purchase one online.

I bet on the other side of that wall are hats of all the opponents LSU played, which is seen by your patients.

LOL, you guys paid your way out of your ass whipping, so..technically...you did the right thing. I mean, eventually, after you tried to do everything else ;)

Dr. Broussard played against McNeese when he was a center at Northwestern. The only reason he's not answering the phone is because he knows it's an eminent ass whipping, too...

He's bringing Southern along slowly...and Lord knows he's got his work cut out for him....he ain't gonna let y'all swim in the deep water till you're ready...

Nope. This is the north wall. I had to start adding hats to the west wall. And strangely enough, even though we played LSU, I don't have an LSU hat on the wall anywhere. Hell, I don't even own an LSU hat nor any LSU gear at all.

I'm not one of those big combo McNeese/LSU fans even though I have degrees from both universities.

Edit: The only thing my patients see sportswise is I have a McNeese sports slide show that comes up on the operatory monitors as a screen saver. They like looking at my photos while getting numb.

Don't know how this thread went from 7 FCS upsets to SU vs. McNeese........Yes I do... :smh:

I watched part of the McNeese game online and called my kinfolk (who played at McNeese 96-00) at halftime. He was like "there's goes another 1 who won't invite us back". The USF fans were like :what:!!! Congrats on the win Cowpokes!!!!

We as a conference should look at some of these schools and see how/why they are constantly more productive.

We should be more concerned with our productivity on the field more than our uniforms/helmets/colors. By the way, McNeese is behind the times with that name on the back of the uni. The 1970's wants that back.... :lol:

However, I don't think these two schools will play each other in the near future, possibly but not anytime soon. This weekend was a prime example. With each conferences growing having to play many conference games, each school is going after guaranteed money instead. If it don't make $$$, it don't make sense...

Good luck to MSU this year, you're gonna need it. UCA is growling.

They were ineligible on their own accord and had nothing to do with the people who paid for grades. Most were grad students. None were athletes or even ex athletes.

Pete ran a clean program. Players were ineligible because they chose not to go to class and take care of their business like they should have. Pete never had any players involved in any academic scandals.

Honestly, I didn't know the two were unrelated. I knew you had ineligible players...and you had a grade scandal. Figured they were related...

That's how this board works, right? Assumptions based on facts not in evidence?? Or is it only the regulars who can engage in that??? ;)
