We've been saying this for years... they lost to Minnesota by 1 a couple years ago and beat them last year. They are a legit MAC/mid-level American Conference team.

Jaguar Nation...the 3-4 defense is "bend but don't break".

But staying in Shotgun and throwing like the 90s is counter-productive. SWAC RBs can't run out of shotgun.

If you want your offense to be successful, you got run the ball. Remember, shotgun throwing leaves time on the clock for the opposing team to score.

Jags, yall are going to be in a lot of shootouts this season. Yep.

You can't even come close to winning if you don't have a halfway decent run game.
Teams with only a passing offense usually can't stop the run.

td cougs. one of the biggest problems for swac teams is up front offense and defense. the o line can't run block and the d line can't stop the run. not big enough strong enough or quick enough. fix that and you can be competitive. that and stop dumb stuff like 3 12 men on the field penalties in the 1st half.
