At least folks not in here hating on y'all. They talking baseball. Seems like you are trying to turn this into yet another SU vs JSU thread.....

He doesn't know what he is talking about. :emlaugh: It may be hard for some to relate though and understand we look at the regionals every year regardless of who is playing in it. Remember they hadn't been to the playoffs in 13 years so they probably skipped over a lot of these type threads.....(not making excuses for his confusion). :emlaugh:

The LSU fans were biting their nails in the 9th inning. They thought it would be an easy walkover but they got way more than they bargained for.
Had the tying run on deck then the double play.:smh:

ULL tried to save it's ace for LSU and ended up losing to Sam Houston state  . Wonder if they will try to save him again  . I don't put it past them arrogant Cajuns

You don't think so? I highly doubt they pitch Nola, Glenn, or Eades - their weekend starters.

The true freshman I was talking about is Hunter Newman. I looked it up and he actually pitched the Arkansas game on Saturday. Other than a few freshman jitters and minor control issues, the kid looked dang good. He has a 1.57 ERA and if LSU can get that first game win with him it sets them up great for the rest of the regional.

Just my thoughts on it. I could be wrong though.

You were wrong and Eades, expected to be a high draft pick, was knocked out early in the game.

 :emlaugh: (I don't think they will be that foolish.....but who knows) The way Jsu was smacking Eades, ULL better not put up a washed up pitcher or they are going to get their butts tapped. :emlaugh:

That's an opinion, fool. One in which I admitted could be incorrect. You don't get any Brownie points for that.

However, if you watched the game you'd know that Eades didn't get knocked out of the game as you stated. Eades was pulled for walking three batters and hitting two. Hit one guy in the back. If anything, he knocked himself out of the game.

One of these days I'm going to let you win one, JayRob. Just so you can feel good about yourself and not go around trying to get back at ol' SUJF.

Check the box score, JayRob. BOXSCORE

In that inning, Eades struck out the first batter, walked the second batter, threw a wild pitch (advancing the runner) to the third batter before walking him also. Then he was pulled. Because he was wild and couldn't find the plate to save his life. He definitely wasn't "knocked out" because JSU didn't get a hit against him that inning.

Now, why don't you admit you were lying or didn't know what you were talking about. Or both. Because both would be so ... JayRob.

Dude, seriously, you just CAN'T be this dumb. Oh wait....:smh:

He got knocked out whether he pitched a terrible game or not. It's not JSU's fault he couldn't find the plate.
It's mighty interesting that he's NEVER been pulled that early in any game this season.

Your hate and dumbness knows no bounds.

If it's not JSU's fault he couldn't find the plate, then you can't take credit for it either.

The guy was simply wild. Period. He wasn't knocked out.

He walked two straight batters and the coach got tired of his ass. That's actually what happened. Can you admit the truth, JayRob? I bet you can't.

You're so fixated on being right, you posted evidence that debunked your own argument.
You acted like JSU didn't get any runs off of hits.

Jackson State 1st - KNOWLES,A. singled up the middle (0-2). CURTIS,S. grounded out to 1b unassisted, SAC (0-1); KNOWLES,A. advanced to second. TAYLOR,B. grounded out to 3b (3-2). BRIGHT,E. hit by pitch (2-0). TILERY,C. doubled down the rf line, 2 RBI (3-1); BRIGHT,E. scored; KNOWLES,A. scored. CRUZ,J. grounded out to 3b (1-1). 2 runs, 2 hits, 0 errors, 1 LOB.

Jackson State 2nd - HAMPTON,F. singled up the middle (1-0). HAMPTON,F. out at second c to 2b, caught stealing. MARIGNY,N. grounded out to 2b (1-0). THOMAS,G. walked (3-1). KNOWLES,A. singled up the middle (0-1); THOMAS,G. advanced to second. CURTIS,S. hit by pitch (3-2); KNOWLES,A. advanced to second; THOMAS,G. advanced to third. TAYLOR,B. struck out looking (0-2). 0 runs, 2 hits, 0 errors, 3 LOB.

JSU could've and should've scored far more runs during the innings Eades pitched. He just got lucky that JSU didn't get timely hitting.
LSU's coach knew this and took him from the game. Thanks for my evidence.

You're an idiot. But, we already knew that.

I never said JSU didn't get hits or didn't score runs.

What we're discussing is what caused him to leave the game. If you notice, Eades was still in the game after those hits and those runs. What caused him to leave the game was walks and a wild pitch.

That's a fact.

And I'm right as always.

I win. You lose. Again.

Case closed.

Dude do you even know the sport or are you just that unintelligent? This is too easy.
What led up to Eades being removed wasn't just what happened in the third inning. It's what happened in the FIRST TWO INNINGS as well. LOL!!

Quick question, JayRob:

After getting the first out of the third inning, if Eades had thrown two strike outs instead of two walks, do you think he would have stayed in the game?

After all, he was back out there in the top of the third AFTER having given up four hits and two runs. Coach seemed to be fine after he got the first out. But, something changed after the next two batters. And it wasn't no damn hits.

Don't answer that question. Because I know you'll screw it up and still somehow end up with the wrong answer.

Bases loaded with 1 0ut........ You have to push them across. unacceptable but the effort was top notch.
