Actually we just want to be treated fairly. A JSU player was suspended by the SWAC office for a late hit out of bounds. Its not like he hit the dude and hit him again and then stomped him. It was a simple late hit. There was a 15 yard penalty and you just move on. The SWAC office went out of their way to suspend out player. When have you EVER seen a governing body suspend a player for a simple late hit out of bounds. ON top of that we got the news EARLY Monday morning.

So now its the end of the week and for some reason we still dont know the penalties that will be handed down for an embarrassing fight on film. Its not like you have to interview people...its right there on film.

Something just aint right about this.

We ain't playing this week. All 63 of our players are suspended this week.

Not only that where are the AD's and Presidents of these schools. By now they should have conducted their own investigations and did some inhouse disciplinary actions...

Right. These fplks are just dragging their heels just to be dragging them. Hell, they could atleast suspend the instigator (#51) for throwing the first punch and say that the investigation will continue for the other perpetrators, but here it is Thursday and nothing. These Infidels are the worst.

What happened to "quick action and discipline"? Those are the words the SWAC office used when banning us. They wanted to set the mark and show the world that these types of things will not be tolerated within this conference. But here you have to institutions fighting and no word on nothing.

Remember yall aint the only that got banned. I am still trying to figure out what did JSU get hit so fast with? I mean Comegy's deal was easy enough just like what happened to Frazier. You know you can't talk about the refs in any conference without something happening quit. We had G. Landry be suspended for a half a few years ago just like your player when it involved one player the game before. Same thing happened to Michael Hayes too in the early 2000s after that pre-voked BC thing. Swift action

So I don't think it is only JSU who gets slapped by the SWAC for stuff. We have too and it hasn't taken long either. Hell I am still waiting on PV to serve their second game suspension for the band fight in 98 after we did our 2. LOL.

SU has already started some internal handling of it. I am sure UAPB has too. As for the SWAC, who knows what their time table is. Stump is already dealing with his players.

I can agree your player shouldn't have been suspended for that after the fact. Don't know what that was about unless folks had been complaining about him for those kind of hits or something like that kid at Mich State.

As for this fight. I think the fact that so much happened in the fight, they are going to send a pretty big message I believe and want to make sure they get every culprit. We know our #51 is at the top of the list. But how they deal with the others is probably the hold up.

JSU should be banned for producing the kind of graduates that post on TSPN.

The SWAC office went out of its way to ban JSU from the SCG by allowing a bogus vote. Its just too bad that SU got caught up in the mix. They really didnt mean for it to happen to you. Plus they knew you didnt have a chance to get to the SCG in the next 5 years anyway.

We just want swift justice.

How soon do you guys think the SWAC office would have responded and how many JSU players would have been suspended if JSU was involved in this incident.

None I believe...........Both school got disqualified from the meet.

But you left out one thing.
A track fight that some OTHER school started and could not finish.
Tell the whole story now. :lol:
