Just read your bible, if you do not beleive "that's personal" but according to the bible, there were other nations before Israel.

I never said that Israel had microscopes, it does not take a rocket scientist to look at a piece of meat to determine if it was suitable for human consumption. For some reason you continue to think those that lived after the creation were stupid and living in caves.

--I've already read the bible and I don't recall Job or Moses mentioning one nation the OT god tried to convert before converting the Hebrew peoples. If I'm wrong, please correct me by listing those nations.

--Where did I say that ancient folks were totally ignorant? I gave reference to the knowledge the Egyptians had in medicine, which suggests that they weren't totally ignorant. They simply could not have known about bacteria and viruses without a microscope.
Their religions never mentions it and neither does the bible.
It's difficult for one to believe that any knowledgeable culture would intentionally leave out of their writings stories about perhaps the most powerful entities known to man.....bacteria and viruses. I'll tell you why, it's because they didn't know about them.

Another thing, if the Egyptians knew about bacteria and viruses, why did their religions teach that spirits caused diseases? The bible teaches the same dogma. I wonder where the biblical authors got this nonfactual info from. Can you tell me?

Surely, an all knowing god who created all things (including bacteria and viruses), wouldn't make up such a lie. I don't think so, but men would.

Read it again and read the Egyptian Book of the Dead and other books about Eastern Religion. Remember, Moses spent years in Egypt and did Israel and before Israel was a "Nation of People" they lived in the desert assoicating with other religious groups.

.

You are sick, let me see it was last year or the year before that you were "Anti Santa" talking about some dude dressed in red and putting ashes in children eyes and so on "What Changed Your Mind"

If you do your research you will find "Santa Clause" used different names, depending on the country and this "Folklour" goes back to paganism "Non Christians"

This dude has nothing to do with the birth of Christ, it's just a money grabbing scheme by corporations.

True, why are you worried about Obama? Besides if you are the "Christian" you say that you are [and you are not]. You would follow the instructions of Paul "Pray without Ceasing - 1 Thess.5:17"

Those instruction speak of a prayful life [read your bible]. If you would focusing on your "Prayful Life" you would not be concerned about a "National Day of Prayer" Why, because of your lifestyle. You said that you were a "Christian" if that's true "what did Christ say about the Sabbath" What did Paul write about the feast days. What did Christ say about Cesar?

Do you really think the Godhead is concerned about a National Day of Prayer? If soy, you really dont know anything about God or His teachings.

With your answer, why are you concerned about on day that does not validate an individual position in Christ.

National Prayer Day, was created as a floating holiday in 1952 and fixed on the first Thursday in May, by President Regan. There were National Prayer Days, before Obama [or did you know that] it started back in 1775.

No, I'm not sick, you just can't comprehend my simple post. There is no need to lie on me in reference to Santa. I'm against people not explaining where Santa came from. When people talk about Santa, they leave out that he's a Christian and the reaon they call him St. Nick. I never stated he had something to do with the birth of Christ. I stated he was a Christian. Learn to comprehend and stop twisting my words!

I'm not worried about Obama. I'm just sounding the alarm by letting Christians know Obama is speaking awful of Christianity, and praising false religions....that's fact.

As for the Godhead, that has nothing to do with the conversation at hand. The topic is about president Obama participating in idol worship.

RB, why you sit here and just flat out lie. The bible only mentions those things because the authors saw that some people with health problems caused others to get it.
THAT information was also being practiced in Egypt and civilizations long before the bible came into existence and long before there was any Moses.
For example:
Minerals [31] and animal products were used too. Honey and grease formed part of many wound treatments, [20] mother's milk [59] was occasionally given against viral diseases like the common cold, fresh meat laid on open wounds and sprains, and animal dung was thought to be effective at times [20].
A cosmetics jar at the Cairo Museum bears the legend: "Eye lotion to be dispersed, good for eyesight." An Egyptian papyrus from 1500 BCE discusses recipes for treating conjunctivitis and cornea, iris, and eyelid problems. Lead-based chemicals like carbonates and acetates were popular for their therapeutic properties [12].
Malachite used as an eye-liner also had therapeutic value. In a country where eye infections were endemic, the effects of its germicidal qualities were appreciated even if the reasons for its effectiveness were not understood [33].

The fact is they didn't know what bacteria was, they couldn't even acknowledge their existence, the bible often claims sicknesses were caused by evil spirits.
If they knew bacteria existed they wouldn't have said something so laughable.

The bible is not a lie, it's full of truth, joy, an prosperity.

I'm finding that you have a hatred for Christ and the heavenly Father. Why?

Why do you refuse to believe that Christianity is truth, and Christ is the savior of all mankind?

DH, can you explain why our politicians made sure Christian images and Moses were engraved on our public buildings in Washington DC? If indeed we are truly a non-Christian nation, why would they go through great lengths to make sure Christian images, bible quotes, and speeches are engraved on public buildings? Why did they do this?

And I'm finding that you're very, very afraid of disproving my previous posts about Christianity coming from Hinduism. This is not about any christ or heavenly father and it's not about me hating anything cause I have no need to since it's false anyhow. It's about denying the truth, documented truth.

That truth easily debunks what you've been taught since birth, but you're so afraid and fearful of HONESTLY looking into it cause you know deep down in your heart, it's the truth. Your ministers have told you as well as the authors of the bible, not to question your beliefs. That's called mind control.

It must be miserable living that kind of life. You have my sympathy.

Most Christian symbols are derived from other religions. All one needs to do is study the symbols of other religions and he'll clearly see the same symbols. The authors of Christianity simply borrowed them and used it as their own.

In addition, many politicians were Christians outwardly, but behind the scenes, they were masons and Deists. This is common knowledge any elementary researcher could find with ease if he's not afraid.

That’s just a dumb statement, just dumb. What Christian Images, Moses was not a Christian neither was anyone on the Old Testament and not John the Baptist. The Cross was adopted, because of the crucifixion, because a person wear a cross does not mean they are a Christian. I have a Star of David, but I am not Jewish. Moses’ was a Hebrew and the statues I have seen, he looks like a typical European Male, so what are you talking about.

The first Christian “symbolâ€￾ was the fish, and there are no buildings that had a fish engraved on them. On the other hand I am not sure if that was not adopted from a made for TV program. These symbols are no more than something put together so mankind can make money off of them.

The Ten Commandments are not Christian – but represent the Old Law.
Please explain how anyone know what Moses looked like, they did not have a Polaroid Camera or any other mechanism to retain images. That’s like church’s having a picture of Christ, no one knows what he looked like and he definitely was not European White.

What's dumb is that you keep ignoring that Christians know that Moses is the law giver, and most Christians know we are to obey the 10 commandments. Calling yourself a Christian does not mean it's ok to steal, fornicate, commit adultery, lie, and etc. No where in the bible does Christ say it's ok to do any of these things, therefore it's against the laws Moses gave to the people as rules to live by. Christians still live by the law, and those same laws Moses gave are suppose to govern the lives of every Christian. In other words, each Christian should know that it's against the law to murder, steal, fornicate, commit adultery, and etc.

Stop playing these silly games with me by ignoring the Christian bible, Moses, and many Christian images in our US Capitol, and public buildings proving that America has a Christian foundation. The public buildings in this country have religious images of the Christian bible, and it has not only OT images, but NT quotes/images as well. I even went so far to post a black preacher teaching the flock that America is a Christian nation. I'll post it again in the next post because you're having a hard time understanding that America is a Christian nation.

Now, lets try this again.......DH, can you explain why our politicians made sure Christian images and Moses were engraved on our public buildings in Washington DC? If indeed we are truly a non-Christian nation, why would they go through great lengths to make sure Christian images, bible quotes, and speeches are engraved on public buildings? Why did they do this?

JayRob, Christ "is" truth, and if you don't have Christ, then what good are you to God? There is nothing false about being a Christian, and to deny Christ is to deny an eternity with God......that's biblical. I will continue to pray for your salvation in Christ Jesus.

When did Moses, become a Christian? Now Jefferson, have you ever read the "Jefferson Bible" he removed some of the scriptures that referred to Christ, but "he is a Christian". You said wearing a cross does not validate your Christanity. Now you are saying "what" what is a statue or a picture. That within itself does not validate a person is a Christian and anyone can stand in a pulpit and quate scripture does not validate their Christanity.

I have reviewed that video before and "what's your point"

Ok, I saw Alexander, Pochontas and a few other mentioned. Because they were mentioned by a preacher, doet that mean they are Christians. Because he is preaching does that mean he is a man of God.

Your problem is you take too much as face value. Ok, the Ten Commandments and "Blind Lady" of Justice are in 100% of the Court Houses, does that mean that all is being treated farily. Having images on doors or wall does not mean equal a hill of beans as it relates to Christanity. I have a few dollars in my pocket that has incribed "In God we Trust" does tha mean I am a Christian or I trust God, absoutly not.

Some say this country was founded on Christaian values, if that's so. Why was there slaes, hanging's, people stealing land and the continued process of injustice? Are those the actions of Christians?

Let's allow God to tell us from His holy word.........Jeremiah 4:22 “ For My people are foolish, They have not known Me. They are stupid children, And they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, But to do good they have no knowledge.â€￾

RB, you continue to divert to anything you can to avoid discussing the subject at hand, which is where Christianity came from.
I have no reason to deny Christianity and I have no reason to deny Hinduism. Both are religions.

The simple fact is that Christianity came FROM Hinduism. Explain how the overwhelming similarities of the two religions came about.

RB

Jeremiah 4:22 “Lessonâ€￾

The Lord complained that His people were foolish, like stupid children. They did not really understand Lord but felt they could deceive Him and that He would not bring them to account for their sins. They thought they were clever when it came to sinning, but not clever at all when it came to understanding that He would punish their sins (Prov. 1:2-3).

So you are saying this is a reflection of those inscribed in Washington?

Pocahontas, was baptized and changed her name, it never said she was a Christian, attended church or worshipped.

Alexander the Great was not a Christian. He lived during the Old Testament.

Thomas Jefferson, what a joke. He did not like the Holy Bible, so he decided to edit out “Christ and His teachingsâ€￾ and that’s on with you?

Alexander Hamilton as well as other Presidents during that period of time practiced Unitarianism. Unitarianism is the belief that God exists in one person, not three. It is a denial of the doctrine of the Trinity as well as the full divinity of Jesus. Therefore, it is not Christian.

You need to study Pau's sermon on Mars Hill, Acts 17.

That's not the subject at hand, the subject at hand is president Obama participating in idolatry; and slapping God in the face by not only participating, but doing it publicly. That's like your child smoking weed in your presence and giving the ok for others to do it as well.

Why would Obama cancel attending the Christian National Day of Prayer, but had no problem attending prayer for false religions?

Yes, both are religions, but one is false and the other is real. Christ is the only savior in this world, and those who follow Him are called Christ-man/Christian.

Hindu has "nothing" to do with Jesus Christ/YHVH..........nothing.

The point I was making in reference to Jeremiah 4:22 is that Americans do foolish and stupid things all the time; and IMO, they fit the description of Jeremiah 4:22.

DH, why do people get baptized, and what does it mean?

Why did you bring up Alexander the Great?

Do you have something I could read in reference to Thomas Jefferson trying to edit out Christ and His teachings?

As for the Unitarianism/Trinity, you should start another thread, and I will give my opinion on the subject.

Did the preacher mention something about “Alexanderâ€￾ was he talking about Alexander Hamilton or Alexander the Great? Hamilton was just as bad as Jefferson. Do your own research on Jefferson. I posted information on him earlier this year, when you mentioned all the great “Christian Presidentsâ€￾ and how the United States is such a great “Christian Nationâ€￾

Why do people get baptized? Considering, you can spend hours on the internet looking up “crapâ€￾ on President Obama, you should have a moment or two to lookup the answer to your question.

Go to the bible and you will find the answer.

As for the Unitarianism/Trinity, you should start another thread, and I will give my opinion on the subject.

And this is your problem with most topics "your opinion" the bible has already spoken.

RB, Pocahontas, was baptized and changed her name, it never said she was a Christian, attended church or worshipped.

If Pocahontas wasn't a Christian, then why would she get baptized, and change her name to Rebecca? I thought people get baptized becasue they believe Jesus is Lord and Savior who died on the cross for our sins, and defeated death on the cross when He rose from the dead. Do I have it backwards, or am I missing something in reference to why people get Baptized? I thought it meant they believe that Jesus is Lord and Savior.

US President Barack Obama on Wednesday lit a diya (lamp) to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights celebrated by Hindus in South Asia. President Obama is the first US president who has personally participated in a White House ceremony for Diwali.

And there is nothing wrong with the President lighting a lamp, RB, act as he committed a crime. I guess if president Obama, host a dinner for the Prime Minister of England, RB will say that he guilty of a trade secret. And don’t let him host a dinner for the King of Saudi Arabia; RB will have a litter of kittens, thinking the President is in negation to sell the Saudi’s, U S Army Tanks or the White House.

Its about time for the leaders of this country to act as if they have some common sense.

RB, people get baptized every day, that does not mean they are Christians neither does being baptized solidify a person’s faith. You just agreed that the wearing or a cross or being baptized mean a person is a Christian.
Son, people change their name everyday! So, Pocahontas changed her name to Rebecca “so whatâ€￾ that was only done to satisfy her in-laws, that doesn’t mean that she is a Christian. There are several Native Americans that changed their names; however they continue to practice their Native American Culture. My name is Michael does that mean I am an Arch Angel as Michael in the Bible?

Go and read the bible (NT) and you will see there were Jews that were baptized, but they continued to deny Christ.

Are you saying everyone baptized believe in Christ and practice Christianity?

Yes, you are missing something concerning your understanding why people are baptized, go and study your bible on the doctrine of baptism (Scholar).

Yes, there is something wrong when a president claims to be a Christian, refuses to attend any events for the Christian National Day of Prayer, but graciously participates in idolatry. This is not a crime against the laws in the US, but this is definately a crime against the laws of God. Christ "NEVER" honored or participated in idolatry, and if we say we are followers of Christ, then we too should do as Christ by not participating in false religions. The world will lead you astray if you buy into the BS it sells daily. The only way a Christian can maintain sanity in this world is through the word of God. The word of God instructs us not to participate in, nor welcome "false religions" into our homes because it makes God jealous. Whenever Christ taught to the non-believer, I "NEVER" read where He welcomed/glorified the religion of the non-believer into His home, or presence. Christ "ALWAYS" taught that He is the only religion a man needs in this world; and it always baffled me that Christians would rather heed the advice of dying men instead of the Savior. I guess that's why I like to refer to Jeremiah 4:22 For My people are foolish, They have not known Me. They are stupid children, And they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, But to do good they have no knowledge.â€￾

A wise man would learn to please God instead of pleasing dying men.

So, are you saying that you know without a doubt in your infinite wisdom that Pocahontas was not a Christian, and she didn't accept Christ as her Lord and savior? Is Pocahontas in hell?

DH, where did I say that just because you're baptized, and confess Christ, that means you're a "PRACTICING" Christian?

You are the one that’s always on here talking about the “Christian’s†in this country. Are you sure that she is a Christian and she practiced Christianity? Is she in hell, no, because Christ has not returned and the final judgment is complete?
I am saying you are under the false opinion that she was a Christian and I am attempting to make you understand that every one baptized is not a Christian, doggone that’s common sense. Paul discussed the same subject in several of his letters.

You have a problem Obama for lighting a lamp and saying that he is not a Christian. Now I am saying the same about your girl Pocahontas, and you are having a problem. You think because she changed her name to “Rebecca†that places her name in the Lamb’s Book of Lifeâ€

So, are you saying that you know without a doubt in your infinite wisdom that Obama is not a Christian, because he lit a lamp?

Christian National Day of Prayer, what's that. You just agreed that this does not solidify one’s Christianity. So attending a National Day of Prayer means absolutely nothing.

Question: How many Christian National Day of Prayer have you attended.
