JSU Tuba Players

People, you would not believe that today, at the Jsu vs Pine Bluff game, at half-time, why in the hell did 5 jsu tuba players bust their a** while doing the tiger run-on. That was the funniest sh*t ever. Especially how the tubas were bouncing on the the ground and then they all tried to get up and get back in formation. If someone got a clip, please post it.

that part of the field was tore up. and they got to taste the mudd :lol:
i hear one of A&M's band members took a slip in the mudd also on gramblings muddy field.
 
That was funny as **** The only thing that would have made it better is if the bells on the tubas were twisted when they got up. They did sound Good today.

I really could care less about the tubas falling (happens to the best of 'em), but what NEEDS to be addressed is all those crooked-arse lines while playing "Blowing Fanfare"...smh

That's one of those that's crucial enough to where you don't even have to remind them that they fell in the future. But, like Trooper said...that'll happen.

He got up, grabbed his sousaphone and finished the show.... it wasnt a "show breaker"....wet, muddy fields can cause problems like that.

lol I know who those two tubas players are.
If the field wasnt muddy I would rag them.
I'm sure the visitors side got a good laugh from it though
 



It looked liked we drank some "fall down kool-aid" in Mobile one year at a battle of the bands... Tiger Run-On should be scratched whenever there is rain in the forecast...or take that jurnt super slow..... :retard:

I was at the concdssion. When I got back I was told "The announcer said 'Now that the remediation performance is over...' then a tuba player dropped his tuba."
What exactly happened?

lol my bad i didn't mean front row seat literally but i was on the visitor's side in the box seats to the right of uapb's band(if u were looking at the field) and i played saxophone and i still know a few members in the section so i look at them to make sure they dont drop chair and all the lil minor stuff in the field show...so as i was looking i noticed that a squad of tubas had fallen, but they got right up and continued on with the field show...it was wet so i can understand but it was still funny to me
 
Im not even laughing at the tuba fall, but look at the LINES during "BLOWIN"...the show just started off wrong...

I'm really not that all surprised by that....lol

Never knew why keeping lines straight wasn't one of the main things practiced in bands shows....
