Broadway has done something that even Eddie Robinson couldn’t do or didn’t do in his wonder years and that’s lose to PV. I have never been so embarrassed in all my life. But it all makes sense; this is nothing more than the accumulation of poor recruiting, poor coaching, arrogance, ignorance and lack of respect for the legacy of GRAMBLING STATE UNIVERSITY. Have we become JSU, with the reincarnation of James Bell? GOD bless GSU and all the alumni that wanted Spears gone, this is one example of us out smarting ourselves. Where have you been? PVU gives out equal scholarships now so they should be competive and actually surpassing several SWAC schools who have remained stagnant. Take your lose and regroup it want be the first or last time they tapped that arse.

I wouldn't give a flip if they gave out 5000 scholarships. In the past four years, we have been to the SWAC championship game 3 out of 4 times and have won it 2 out of 4. So how in the world do I loose a kid to an inferior program, by not recruiting, and being totally incompetent? Does USC loose kids to Hawaii; does UT loose kids to UNT? The answer is NO... And that's my point, even if they offered 5K scholarships it should not matter because they should be only getting the left over kids that we don't want.

Dude this kind of thinking is the reason Florida State is losing to USF. History and Tradition does not win games. Players and coaches do. PV has a decent coach,better campus location(Houston) and a good recruiter.

Gram is not the GRAm you guys think it is. Bad location(like Valley and Alcorn),living off the past, no fan base, very few home games...etc..etc..

PV is the new it team. Broadway has to prove he can recruit. He lucked up last season but that run for your life chuck the ball was not really an offense it was a happen stance. He was sticking with sorry Tillman until Dillion showed out. Now they trying to make him a pocket passer. Oh yeah you have sub par receivers and a suspect defensive backfield.

Where's Biggs? I wanna' talk football and what I (me, summa, sunt, ego, et al forms of one) saw. I saw Christian Anthony making 3-UnAssisted tackles and 1-tackle Assisted for a grand total of four. Why was that? CA dominated even during the game w/ power okie-state. I saw our OL not pancaking too many DL of Grambling but I KNOW I counted 3-4 instances where our OL actually picked up some DLs and shoved them backwards so quickly/strongly that they fell on their backsides. The replay of the game is being shown on some site that PV7 indicated so go take a look-see for yourself. I really don't get into what the skilled-position guys are doing too much anymore. I study what's occurring in the trenches because THAT is where games are won/lost. Strength, quickness, non-mistakes of OL and DL. :read: Our linemen aren't "fat" and obese @ 330+lbs. They are somewhat slender (MO) and strong. There's a huge diff between 330lbs of fat w/ a lil' bit of muscle and 295lbs of just muscle. Methinks that's why teams like James Madison, AppySt, McNeese, et al have been so successful. :read:

We got inside the 10 yard line on GRAM 3 times in the 1st half alone before the comedy of error's started and we would end up at the 40 yard line punting.
On top of that, we gave ya'll 2 TD's because of the long snapper putting the ball over the punters head.

So based on what you say TSU should be the best team in the SWAC, based on location. And wtf are you talking about bad location, it's right off I-20 in between to major cities in Louisiana. And I don't think PV has a better campus, have you been to Gram lately? I do agree that they have a better Coach but that was my point from the beginning, we made the wrong decision in choosing a coach.

Do you think Grambling will beat us next year? Here, let me let you in on something. If all goes as planned (not trying to look ahead but if all goes well this fall and our staff is intact as it has been the last 5yrs), we'll possibly return 10 of 11 starters on offense and possibly the entire defense. :| Did you know that? We redshirted our ENTIRE 2009 recruited class who'll be ready next year academically and athletically. We have a few names of "note" in wait who'll be cleared blah blah blah I'm not saying anything else. :emlaugh:
